I'm interested in hearing some feedback from some others, but I don't think that this is quite appropriate, pointing fingers and naming names of people who may not read this to defend themselves. Using the situation in a general term to educate judges is profitable, but we don't want to go too far and begin to accuse those who don't have the medium to respond. I guess I'll hit the "submit" button now and start ducking the shots, 'cause I 'spect I'm a fixin' to get fired at!

Guys it wasnt Fred Bach, It was Fred Hausman, Ron Eades, Kari Isenhower, and Mark Harmen and the president of the club was the one with the Blue collar dog.
Mark was the only one scratched, the rest got to run.
I cant believe the president of the organization( lp ) allowed this, even tho it wasnt his dog he was handling for Jesse Painter.
Guys this is why L.P. is like it is.

I am not going to make any comments as I was not there. However, I heard a somewhat different scenario.

Yes, he is.

He doesn't have a computer.
As DRamey put it very nicely, he cannot defend himself.

Adam as far as i am concerned matt does not need to defend himself i did not even want his name metioned in this i considered him a friend before this cast and still do i was just curious to what other judges would have done however i still do not believe that this was right decison and feel that all four dogs should have been picked up.

Mark,

There is always controversey in situations like this. I talked with Matt and he said he thought he did the right thing.

See you at some hunts, AV Spencer

Well if this went on it needs stirred up.
Guys this is why L.P. numbers at the trials are going down.
I was at a trial the past 2 weekends in a row, and their was a couple of older gentlemen there all 3 days of the trial, one brought his motor home and helped out with food and clean up, after the hunt was over I asked the vice-president of the club why didnt they run their dogs in the hunt, seemed like really nice guys.
He said they just bring their dogs to the trial in case their is some left over time after the trials to run and enjoy visiting with the guys.
He said some of the judging had left a bad taste in their mouth,( at other area clubs) and one of the older gentlemens comment was, it will be a cold day in hell before he enters another dog in a NKC trial. ( Wonder Why )
Well after the 3 days of trials and going out on every cast and seeing this club is on the up and up, and judging is as honest as can be, guess what.
He asked for registration forms to register their dogs.
Guess hell froze over on Sunday. LOL

Judges

Post by Jim Stinnett »

Doesnt matter to me what happened! If Matt Spencer made the call, I know for a fact that he thought he made the right call! Matt is one of the most honest judges in LP! I have judged Matt's dogs & he has judged mine. I would have Matt judge my hounds any day! We as judges all make mistakes! I have made a bunch I wish I could take back! Nuff Said!

Why do you think that it is getting so hard to keep Little Pack judges? The man made a call, and he is sticking to it. If we question every call that the judge (who has the right to make since he is the judge) makes, no one will want to judge!!!!
