Hello all

Is there any video of a Midwest SPO winner's pack? I would love to see that in order to have some actual context to discussions like this without relying in 2nd and 3rd hand descriptions. I Plan to attend a Midwest SPO trial in Arkansas this coming Fall/Winter. I don't think my dogs have the foot but they might get some score at checks...they will hark up with hounds that are faster on the long straightaways.

Thanks

if you can score checks you have a shot. the Midwest has different style of dogs competing if its head high running your dogs better be able to keep up.i like the dogs that can make the turns. ive never been to Arkansas for a trial but good luck

Thanks Tom. Days like that build good memories even if the running is tough on the hounds. Looks like a good turnout for such a crappy day.

I enjoy midwest trial more than any other format because its spo and I get to see good dogs. I go with an open mind to see what is better out there. There will always have good dog showing up and that is the best way to look for new puppies, dog, and stud. For those who has not been to one, just go and take a kid along because it will be fun.

This would be a great trial to take a tight line dog too. Nothing like a dog running in the middle of the pack and turning on a dime making the rest look like idiots. I would be flattered to see this if I had a dog that could turn!
