Shots (Good or Bad??)

Re: Shots (Good or Bad??)
I dont raise alot of pups, but in the last four years I have had 5 pups have reactions to the shots. I lost 4 of those pups. Two of the pups that I lost were out of my last litter and the first one died 6 days after the vacine and the other 10 days. They both tested positive for parvo and the rest of the litter was fine. The vet told me it was probably caused by the shot. I agree that the shot has some bad side affects from time to time but I think most of the bad reactions are from bad shots. I purchased these shots from tractor supply and I usually buy them at a local feed store but since then I buy them from the vet. My vet will sell me take home shots for 8 bucks and my other six pups are now 4 months and they have 2 more shots since and are doing great, so in my opinion we just need to make sure we buy fresh shots.
