Diethylstilbestrol – {DES} is the most reliable. Administer 5 mg Diethylstilbestrol {DES} for 7 days or until bleeding starts. Give DES 2 more days after bleeding is observed.

PG 600 - One dose followed by a second dose in 7 days. {they come in single dose virals} It was noted however, that if it was given during proestrus, superovulation may result. {She will have so many pups that it will kill your bitch}. Don’t give a shot once bleeding starts. The injection burns. Have your bitch muzzled and someone to hold her while another gives the injection. The injection site will be very sore for the following few days, but other than that it is safe.

Parlodel - Orally at 20mg twice daily, it may take 18-28 days of treatment before estrus starts.

These all work and many breeders use them, especially outside the United States.
