Can't wait to get heading that way...in fact Singer has her bathing suit packed. It was -19 windchill here last night and woke up to a blistering -9 degrees. Although, we are into a heat wave today of 6 degrees and windchills reaching a scortching -8. Bring on the sunshine :lol:

Hello All,
Me and my 11 year old son wants to come and watch the males run Saturday and Sunday and was wandering if we were allowed to go into the field and watch them compete. We are wanting to get started in the field trials and want to see some midwest dogs and see if we like that type hounds. I believe this type hound is what i'm looking for because i like a hound with good speed and control. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you can probably hang around with the gallery; they usually get to see quite a bit of the running. Just be sure not to interfere with the running or judges. You should be able to see enough to get an idea of the type of beagles the Mid-West runs. Be sure to stick around for the winners pack; they usually put on quite a show.
