Up to 60 rabbits for the season and still haven't killed a doe, which is fine with me.Did notice the 3 rabbits I killed yesterday have already dropped their nuts like they are getting ready to breed. This doesn't normally happen here for another couple of weeks.Didn't notice any bloody urine spots that would indicate the does coming in thou.

Oh I forgot to mention we hunted a new spot yesterday and found a dandy 10 point dead. Looked like he managed to make it to the briar tangle and that was it. Good training tool for the young pup we had with us though.

This is a good post and I think people need to check the sex of what they kill. I have cut way back on my killing because I have lost some hunting ground. I used to kill HUNDREDS a year but so far I have just killed around 75 this year butonly 4 were does. I would guess 90% killed would be bucks.

Killed the first does of the season today. They were fairly close to some buildings and dozer piles.Rabbits had ate up this ol boys garden this year and I think these does just got caught off guard as they both came from the same doze pile. That was 2 does out of 66 rabbits.

I've started checking since this post came out. Of the rabbit's we have taken, 80% have been buck rabbits.
