Try putting some cat litter on top of the waste and make sure the bags are not too heavy for them to lift. That's the nice way, it keeps the smell down. If that don't work use some black garbage bags and cover the waste with some grass clippings.

I guess i've been lucky, i have 4 hounds in an above ground kennel and rarely have a problem with smell. I use a layer of agricultural lime under the kennel, it seems to aid in decomposing the poop faster, and keeps it fairly dry. I add more lime about once a month or as needed. Also, after scooping up what is left, i spray the entire kennel floor and underneath with a bleach/water mix with a hand sprayer. It seems like the bleach helps keep flies away too. I have a buddy that works for a seed company and he gets me the lime pretty cheap by the bucketfull.
