Glad to see you and Tony are tight. All is fun as long as people are good sports when they win or loose.

Any of you guys ever talk to Tony?
I have the pleasure of running against him on several occasions, and he has judged my dogs on several occasions.

The times we have talked at the clubhouse, or riding to the casting grounds he was always very polite and mild mannered, never trash talked anyone.
We mostly talked dogs.
Tony is very knowledgable about dogs, (individual dogs, training, bloodlines, etc.). He has probably owned more good dogs than I have seen.
Tony is a good judge, he keeps good dogs.

I always hated running against Max. He is a fine hound and I hope my dogs are that good when they get to that age. However, Tony used the rules to his advantage which is not cheating. I told Tony I didn't like getting cast out against Max, but rules were rules. There are others that have used the same methods to hold a dog back (particularly before the World Hunt). Apparently none have been as succesful as Tony.

I'm glad so many of you get mileage riding Tony. It doesn't seem to bother him as much as getting beat by him bothers many of you.

Silverzuk,If you know tony as well as you say you do then you know he says what he thinks.Just because I don't agree with little things that people do don't mean I dislike that person. That is what these threads are for is to get everyones point of view.I was sitting there with Brad and Tony when we decided to post this,so he knows its a joke.

I had a request for this post to be deleted but after reading it I dont see much harm has been done so far and I trust that the members of this board will keep it that way. I dont see where it has been a bashing contest against anyone....just folks voicing thier opinion.
I for one believe it should be about the dogs and some of the games that are played in the ARHA are absurd to say the least but from what I have seen MOST of the games are done by the rules and that is the ARHA's problem not the folks that take advantage of them.
For the record, I am not a buddy nor enemy of Tony. As a matter of fact I have never met him nor do I know anyone who has posted on this thread so all the conspiracy theory's are out the window for those that think I play favorites. I call it the way I see it and I dont care what anyone thinks!
Thats my story and im sticking to it!

My post isn't pointed at Tony it is pointed at any gamesmanship with the rules. I talk to Tony evertime that I see him and he is mild mannered and packs some power. He is also one of the best and fairest judges out there on the circuit. I consider him a straight shooter as he calls it how he sees it and is as candid as they come. That is a rarity these days. You may not always agree with him, but you will always know where he stands on a subject. Which is great in my book. Okay enough of the Tony love fest. LOL

I was the one that requested it be deleted. I didn't want the post to turn into a bashfest like so many on here. So many are so quick to point out the wrong in others it seems when they need to take a closer look at themselves. We are all human and far from perfect. We are like crabs in a bucket. None of us can get out of it because we keep pulling each other down instead of giving a helping hand or giving credit where credit is due.If you beat my dog fair and square I will look you in the eye and shake your hand and congratulate you..if my dog gets cheated (and they have more than their share in past trials) I will do the same but I am not the one who has to live with that guilt. You reap what you sow  and the only thing I can control is me. I go to trials to relax, cut up and have fun with friends and meet new people. Some take this way to serious and are cheating themselves out of a good time.

I was in the finals with Tony and he was nothing but a good sportsman. It was a 3 dog final and I got 3rd. My dog deserved 3rd.The Judge did a good job and Tony's dog did its thing. Congrats to Tony on his win. Congrats to all the winners that day and thanks to all that judged. Had a great time.Great Club Great people!

Brad, I dont understand you.The way you put this on here it looked like you wanted to start a Bash-Fest. You come on here with a little remark like ( guess who signed a scorecard) to see who would jump on Tony. Now you want it deleted.

Mike , Brad wrote what Tony told him to write(to the letter)I thought it would be funny to hear what everyone would have to say.We thought that everyone would think he was talking about Max but Danny ruined that in the first reply.

Chris, That is exactly what I mean. The intent of the post was to stir the pot. Why? Is there anything to gain by starting an argument about the rules? Why would Tony want you to post it? To see who would trash talk him? I guess Brad fell right in to that. You cant make me believe Brad didnt know what was going to happen from the start. I like Brad, but aint none of us perfect.

Just curious if your dog wins the final cast and the you don't sign the score card, does it place? I've never seen it happen and as a judge wouldn't know what to do if it did happen.
