Remember he did a way with elections years ago and started appointing the people he wanted. Why? This way he could always call the shots with no one questioning him.

Toldyou....overall good post. However your statement above got me to thinking. Who is "elected" at the "national level" of any registry or format UKC ? AKC ? PKC ? State Reps , field reps, watchdog committee's these are all appointed people in any registry or format , correct me if I am wrong ? IMO, the backbone , and/or strength of any format is based at the local club level , and all those officers are elected, and of course the support of club membership that these elected officers receive, that makes or breaks a format. JMO

I can remember having elections for PP Chairman......I think club Presidents voted for the club. The club would nominate and then the President carried it to the meeting. Pretty sure we done that at the run-offs....but I could be wrong, that was years ago.

ROWCO has not run any ARHA LP OR BP trials for a while but it has absolutely nothing to do with the leadership. It is completely physical and I am having total knee replacement to try to remedy some of that. I want to say that I can take no pleasure in the troubles of another man. I am no perfect man myself. In fact, the only perfect men I ever heard of were the ex-husband and former pastor. LOL Bobby

As far as a non profit org. MOST of you have made money off of arha. Selling titled dogs, selling pups out of a national or world champions, studding out your champion dog, selling hunting gear to all the beaglers that belong to the biggest beagle competitive format in the world. I can't speak for Del, I can't speak for nkc. I can speak for myself and point out, what I know and what I have seen. Money and greed makes people do stupid things.

That's a nice thought. I don't even want to think what I spent on trials and dogs, from 2001-2004.....not to mention the new truck I wore out, lol. There are a lot of better ways to lose(make) money....

Don't get me wrong here. Very very few people have came out on top. If your in it for the money, you will probably starve to death. By the time you spend money on entry's,gas,hotels,electronic devices, ect,ect. You will never come out on top. It's something I do because I enjoy and love. I have meet great people and have made life long friendships through these hounds. I would never look at it as "losing money". 2001-2004 isn't a very long time. Maybe you just needed better dogs. There's a "thought" for you. My point being if people have sold an arha registered litter of pups out of a arha champion at $200 a pup and there was 6 pups you just put $1200 in your pocket. I figured I would have to spell my post out for somebody.

HSkennels69 - The only reason you have slowed things way down,is because everyone knows your nothing but a dog trader. Every dog you sell is a world beater. Come on really.

Russman the only part of the story I got wrong was, you ran for County Treasurer,Not commissioner sorry.

How would you expect one to not get it wrong. You just went 180 degrees in 2 posts. You went from saying MOST have made money to very, very few have.

If you sell 6 pups at $200 you only make 1200 if you don't get shots, brucellosis test, pay stud fee, haul both dogs around to make them Champions, or you buy them......it's not like it is 1200 profit.

You call it what you want when you spend your money.....and I will call it what I want when I spend my money. I don't really see where it's any of your business what I call it, no more than it is any of my business what you want to call it. And my dogs done just fine. If I had to go thru 100 dogs to find a decent one that could make the run offs....I would have found a new hobby. 2001-2004 wasn't very long....but that was all I needed for me to achieve my goal and make my point and pee off guys who finally understood it's all about spending $$. You don't need a good dog, you need a deep billfold.

This is about Del stealing your money and not giving anything back to you the houndsman that gives your money to him. And yes in the day Fred and Ron and e-board members. watch dog committee were all voted on in little pack it did not change until Paul Prevot almost took Freds job one year. Clubs nominated the people for the positions and then thse people were voted on. Del had his Yes men in place and thats how he wanted it kept. You fellows should not be at fighting with each other about he said she said you should see the big picture and wander what do i do about the little world hunt. Do I want to give my HARD earned money to a thief who could less about his own organization. Little story. There was a bar down here where i live that was leased my a friend of mine. The place was booming great times food company and run 100 percent by the books. The owner of the bar walks in one night says drink up and eat your food i am closing the doors tonight at 7. Him and my friend starts argueing and the owner told him i told you if you started making to much money and was not willing to hide some of it i would get taxed to death therefor you broke the agreement and you r done. I NEVER entered that building again because the owner was a thief. Del Morgan is a convicted felon now no matter what he gets out of this a slap on the hand or jail time and as long as his name is tied to your organization that means you r having dinner with a thief. Would you let your kids hang out with a thief. i would not think. so litghing up on each other remember what the post is about. MORALS look around your world we need more MORALS in r lifes. Dogs will always be thereand another man will come along and purchase the organization only if you as houndsman quit giving your money to a thief and force him to sell. He will sell if you quit going and everyone will be better for it.

Frank, if the world hunt to you was just about spending money to win a 3 dollar trophy i feel sorry for you, cause to me the world hunt is about seeing friends that i only get to see for those few days every year, watching dogs run that are too far away for me to watch only hearing about them through the rabbit hunter or from hear say from friends, going to Taylor's to eat that big Ribeye and having a few drinks with friends, sitting around a camp fire telling stories, competing against the best houndsman and the best LP dogs in the world.

My wife and I have bought several buisnesses over the years and every time we bought a place we changed things because it was better for us and we thought it was better for buisness some customers liked the changes others did not but it was our money we invested and we did what we thought best. Del bought the arha with his money and has the right to make changes in the organization and appoint positions instead of voting on them, even if i don't agree with the changes it's his right to do so. If the arha sells at some point you can mark it down the new owner/owners will make changes of their own and not everyone is going to agree with them either.

I don't go to the hunts to give my hard earned money to Del i go to the hunts because i choose too, i could run my dogs at home for free if i wanted.
My family loves to fish now we could go to lake and fish from the bank and catch plenty of fish but we choose to use a boat even though this means extra gas money to pull the boat to the lake, more money for gas to run the boat, extra expenses for life jackets, ect...ect...

stavemillsbeagles u need not feel sorry for me. You completely missed the point. No ONE I MEAN NO ONE had a better time at the world then me and Jeff Haynes you can believe that. And if you run your businesses the way you want with no input from your customer base and your employees that explains why you have bought and sold businesses. I still have the same one and the same employees working for me so i must not be to bad a guy or as you put it all about MONEY. You just keep giving your money to a convicted felon that way you have a place to go and see your friends because true friends keep in touch no matter where you r. I dont even own a beagle dog any more. and yes you r right i do not have a choice Del made that for me when i called him a thief on this very board 3 years ago. I guess the truth hurts. Chris you do what you want no sweat off my back. But i call it the way i see it. You do not see the connection with the organization and Del Morgan. Hell Del doesnt even list himself as the owner he list himself as a agent this way his non profitable organization can pay him a check. and i get it i to own a business. But never have i ever tryed to get over on the government to avoid paying taxes or tell my customer base which is what you r to Del Morgan, that i am broke. He as floated this very rumor around for quite sometime. And to me just my opinion i believe the fellow houndsman deserves better then Del Morgan. This is all i am saying. When i got out of the beagles i decided if someone ever cheated my grandson over a beagle dog how do i explain to him this is just the way it is. And i answer no because thats not the way it should be. And i at that time did not care to be invovled as i seen the houndsmanship going the other away. that i did not want to deal with no more. If you still enjoy it and do not have problems with giving your money to a known criminal that has been lying to you from day one then by all means have at it . We have the right to disagree.
