I agree with Mr. Everts, and that dosen't happen much. As a judge, you see things that might not make sense to the handlers. It might be just one rough dog that yanks the others around, or it might be one mouthy dog that won't shut-up in the check area. I have also judged a good cast of dogs that got on a half grown rabbit that just gave them fits. Remember: fifteen seconds is fifteen seconds, forward progress(two feet or twentey feet) is forward progress.

All I know is that the 2011 Judge of the Year is honest, gives it his all, a true houndsman, a great guy, and deserves being the Judge of the Year! If he judges my dogs and comes back and tell me my dog finished last in the cast, I'll shake his hand and thank him for judgeing.

Mr. Pea, For the most part, trialing is fellowship where everyone is willing to help and have fun. I know some of my closest friends I have, I met though trialing. Just remember: it just take one bad apple to ruin the whole pie, get rid of that apple and the next pie will be that much better!
