Bumps or blisters between dogs toes

Post by Alen »

Has anyone seen this before? We have seen a bump that appears and then goes away in a couple of weeks between the dogs toes. This is in six out of eight dogs. It started with one dog and spread to the others. Some of these blister like bumps get very large before they go away. There is a lot of reddness between the toes. It doesn't seem to bother the dogs. They don't lick or bite at them and will clear up for a little while and then come back. The dogs are in above ground kennels with coated kennel wire on the floors and plywood on the boxes. I have tried bleach, and antifungial cream. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

I guess this is some rare disease. Not I wonder why their has not been one single reply to this post. I don't think your computer can catch it. Well I think I have found a cure. Sulfadene it must have been like a hot spot between the toes. So if you or your dog ever have this problem try sulfadene b.i.d for five days topical

Do a search on interdigital cysts and see if thats what it is. It's fairly common in dogs.
