any suggestions on stud dog?

...on the ancestry of your new hound? This is your forum. Post your question and others will fill in the blanks for you. This is also a good forum for asking about particular hounds and bloodlines (past or present) when considering a breeding or purchase, or just breeding questions in general.

FC Brent's Prime Time owned by Greg Wells & John Shelton. Prime is a littermate to Chimer. Would make some nice line breeding if you have dogs bred out of Chimer. Prime Time's add can be seen in Better Beagling or on http://www.mid-west-gundog.com

FC BRANKO'S LUMBER EASY RIDER or FTC MIKERMA'S SUPER DOG would be excellent choices for a Chimer female also.

I've seen excellent results from a Prime Time bitch and fd ch Buddy's Iron Eagle and also fd ch Hutson's Tracker Sam. Might work with a Chimer bitch as well since they are littermates.

Dexter Reffett in David, Ky owns Eagle. Here's his website. It's still under construction but it's got his contact and stud info.

Tom O'Neil from Binghamton New York has Maravics Mr Stubs Blue Thunder who is off FC Maravics Alladin, he is a Bluetick that is a fast hard hitting dog with line control, quick smooth on his checks, he hasnt been bred very often but he has produced the current AKC National 2 x FC Female 15" class, and some others placing. He needs only his 1st places to claim his FC status in AKC LP on Hare.
