infected foot

My male dog has a bad infection in his foot that I am worried about. is there anything that I could do to help him with this without have to deal with a vet.

his pen is saw dust it happened out in the woods hunting when I seen him I just loaded him up and took him hom because he was limping.

I wonder if I could put it in peroxide and soak it and then put something on it.

Do you see a cut or hole where somthing entered the foot? or could it be a sprain or twist joint.

We've given Pen-G, 2cc and soaked foot in epson salt to draw out thorns and such.

If it's "really bad" don't wait to take him to the vet & get it checked...Patch
