We went thru a false pregnancy a few years back!
Molly gained weight had milk but never had pups we had her X Rayed for 20 dollars.

I went to the vet Friday. Brought her in and had the vet check her out. He felt around and told me NO PUPS joey. It was a false Pregnancy. She had milk she gained weight. She is normally around 18lbs. I put her on the digital scale at the vets office and she wieghed 24lbs.

The vet does not know why she didn't take. his thoughts were we bred to early in the heat cycle. I agreed with him. Cause for another 5 days straight after I took her home she was still standing with her tail curved. He did not give her any kind of shot and he did not do an x-ray either. While I was there I went ahead and had her 3yr rabies done. Other than that I was in and out pretty quickly.

I have never gone thru anything like this before. I have learned alot over these past couple months about breeding.

I had high hopes for the pups. I thought it was going to be an excellent cross. I'll just have to wait a few years down the road before I try something like this again.

For now I have a lil ringo pup I'm waiting on so that I can go pick her up when she is ready to come home with me......
