Charlie has never been trialed. He has run a ton of Hare and just as many cottontail. I hate to bragg on a dog. He is a full 15" . He is a nice Hound, and handles like a dream!! He is here if your interested

i say shooter because i have both them lines in my kennel and i think they would be a great cross but it depends on how your bitch runs if you want more speed shooter might not be the best way to go but he has everything else he is not slow either he dose throw some fast hound

Don`t know about the Shooter dog but I have ran with the Blue Sly dogs. They will put speed,hunt and size in your dogs.
If I wasen`t Patch crazy I`d own some Blue Sly blood.

not to knock shooter cuz I am a huge fan of his but you may look up matt and joe wazny in michigan they own waznys cash tank he is out of lake ogemaw casey and Larsens jill (jill is paycheck bred) and heard he is a very nice hound but any way those are the two dogs I would breed to shooter or tank .

FC Farriers John Boy is a magnificent bred dog. i own a male out of John Boy. big nose, very good snow dog. won and placed in akc LP hare, also placed in arha.. fine dog to gun over. unfortunately he was diagnosed with lyme disease... after 6 months rest and alot of meds, he got well...but never regained his previous form. best snow hound i have hunted with.

I agree with you jmdown. John Boy was a very nice hound. He also had a terrific pedigree. Is he still alive? I maybe mistaken but I thought I may have heard he passed away? I haven't talked to Nelson in sometime.

I was curious, so I called Nelson this morning. His wife said John Boy has been sick here lately and doesn't know if he is gonna get better. I looked it up, John Boy will be 12 in July 20, 2009.
