I have one and had a litter out of him and the pups did not have it but my brother-in-law has one of his sons and had a litter off him that had two in it.

jfields wrote:Yes that is what i am refering to. I heard its rare and a lot of people keep every one they can get. I was told it was bred into them for snow running. Not sure what the snow has to do with it though. Just wondering if anyone else knew anything about this. I have one that is 11 months old and runs like a 2 year old.
Not sure what the color of a dogs eye has to do with running on snow ? takes a dog with good nose to run in cold and snow. If your pup is running like a vet., it's more about his hunt and his nose

Yeah, that sounds like an ol' wives tale to me.

I have one myself. She just turned a year old and is a keeper. Seems to have a very big nose. FC Hills Primetime Trailblazer X Indian Hills/Primetime bitch. First one I'd had ever seen.
