Pine mt your a long way from the bottom, take a look at some 3rd world countries and get a glimpse of where we are headed.Those 3rd world countries have been trying for years upon years to build an economy from the bottom up and there still 3rd world countries. We had one president with the same ideology of Obama (Jimmy Carter) and how did that work out. I can't for the life of me remember hearing one person say they got a job from someone homeless or on government assistance. Everything flows from the top down including the economy. You know if Obama and Biden were serious about helping the middle class they had a golden oppertunity with Joe the plumber to say regardless of wheather you think our plan is good or not we want to help you instead them and the liberal media tried to take this guy apart for asking a simple but relivent question. I'd say they showed there true intent.

As far as a natural born american goes. If he doesn't qualify he should't be running.

Agreed, rabbithoundjb. Question has been raised as to Obama's birth country and lack of birth certificate. If he cannot produce "genuine" documents that prove he is a natural-born citizen of this country, he should be removed from the ticket. I think his campaign and advisors are stalling this issue, hoping he will be elected regardless, and that people will forget about it once he is.

I don't know, but I hope the people in charge know the rules well enough to know who's eligible and who isn't, before putting a candidate forward for the president of the States,... tho this does add alot of excitement to the election while the Country go down the tube...
I used my last stimulus check to help pay my property taxes, now their saying the next stimulus will go to States and Counties to keep them from going broke. Shame we couldn't live on borrowed money forever, regression is so painful when your used to being spoon fed the sugar for so long. Oh well, more billions of debt to live another day, and all we had to do was keep spending 125% of what we made to keep the party rolling...

Pine Mt I am not trying to argue with you but our last democrat that was president signed a trade agreement that sent thousands of the jobs your talking about out of the country. Jobs are still leaving as a result of NAFTA. That same administration put pressure on these lending firms to make more and more of these suspect loans which has us in the financial shape the country is in now. I'm not defending the current administration, they have made mistakes as they all will but a lot of the problems we are seeing were already in motion when Bush took office. There are a lot of levels of government and most states to my knowledge handle the labor laws so they monitor benifits and wages and so forth, some things I'm sure are federally mandated but if you take a look you will see that there are no poor high level politicians. My point is that if you think the dems are for the working people your fooling yourself.

The government can't pressure these companies but so much or more jobs will leave.

Well, Pine Mtn and Collins Country, that was as good a show of denial, dodging the issue, and blowing of smoke as I've seen in a while. I can understand you don't want a Republican in the White House....but don't you at least want an American in there?

Oh, and is there an unwritten rule somewhere...or a union that exempts people from Southeast Kentucky from having to use the pesky "shift" key, therefore allowing them to skirt the tough work and type in all capital letters? In computer language, using all capitals is considered SHOUTING.

WND senior investigative reporter Jerome Corsi, who recently returned from a trip to Kenya with revelations about Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's participation in a foreign nation's internal politics, now has been dispatched to Hawaii to uncover the truth of the senator's place of birth.

The issue has been raised multiple times during the 2008 presidential campaign, with a number of court cases already launched that demand documentation about Obama's birth place. One prominent Pennsylvania Democrat, Philip Berg, has alleged that Obama was born not in Hawaii but in Kenya.

Corsi plans to be in Hawaii for several days to review the evidence and records in the dispute.

He was able to travel even though a chronic health condition landed him on his back following his Kenya trip, especially after he was detained by armed Kenyan soldiers and immigration officials for most of the last day he was in Nairobi, which prevented him from holding a news conference to discuss his discoveries there.

Corsi said he is working with medications that have partially relieved the pain, and he's continuing his effort to discover the truth.

Corsi reported that when he was in Kenya he was told that Obama actually was born not in Honolulu but in Mombosa, on the Kenyan coast. He also said he was told by government officials there that his records were sealed and nothing could be released.

While in Nairobi, Corsi obtained documentation linking Obama to the nation's prime minister, Raila Odinga, who was appointed to the position to stop a wave of violence by Muslim supporters.

Corsi went at the invitation of Christian missionaries who contend the rise of Islam in the African nation has been spurred by an agreement Odinga signed with Muslim leaders in an effort to win the presidency last December. Odinga lost but now shares power with the Kenyan president to appease Islamic leaders.

Corsi's highly critical book examining Obama's career, "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality," remains on the New York Times best-seller list after its publication Aug. 1. The book was No. 1 on the list for four straight weeks after its launch.

In a chapter of "The Obama Nation" titled "Kenya, Odinga, Communism, and Islam," Corsi says Obama supported the candidacy of Odinga, a Luo tribesman like Obama's father, in the 2007 Kenyan presidential election, opposing current president Mwai Kibaki, a member of Kenya's largest tribe, the Kikuyu.

Corsi revealed that Obama not only campaigned for Odinga but raised almost $1 million during the run-up to that nation's 2007 presidential election. Corsi also uncovered Odinga's written agreement with Muslim leaders stipulating that if they delivered him the Muslim vote, Odinga would, if elected, change the constitution to declare Islamic law as the ruling authority in Muslim-dominated regions, protect terrorists and muzzle Christian evangelism.

Odinga was named prime minister in Kenya after his campaign called for protests of an election he lost by more than 200,000 votes to incumbent Mwai Kibaki. The resulting violence by marauding Muslim mobs left 1,000 people dead, hundreds of thousands displaced from their homes and 800 Christian churches damaged or destroyed. No Islamic mosques were damaged, however.

Among the worst attacks occurred when several dozen women and children sought refuge in a Christian church which mobs burned down on top of them.

OK...IF Obama is a natural citizen, why not end all speculation once and for all...produce the darn birth certificate. I remember an old adage that says where there is smoke, there is fire...he has NOT produced a birth certificate, he has produced a registration of live birth...not the same...plus you are not paying attention to all the evidence that he was born in Kenya, raised for a while in Indonesia and had his religion listed as ISLAM when enrolled in Indonesian schools...please take note that at the time OBAMA was in Indonesia, ONLY INDONESIAN CITIZENS were allowed into schools. Another little tidbit...when Obama travelled as a younger man, he did so on an INDONESIAN passport...if he could get a passport from the US, why didnt he??


These things still dont answer why he has NOT released any college records...if he was getting aid as a foreign student as has been speculated, he has committed fraud in one way or another. Too much unanswered. Too much not known. Too much risk.
