I have an AKC female, 13 inch class, mostly black and tan tri color for sale. She is running well, has not taken a deer on me in a year of owning her and has a great horn.
Positives on her: Runs well, minds great out in the field and in the kennel, not noisy at all. She does not cold trail. Superb in the check.
Negatives : Not the best jump dog I have. Speed on a normal scale of 1-10, she is about a 5.5 to a 6. Steady though, which is why she is great in the check area. This may be a negative, but she will bark when she loses you for a long period of time. Once she finds out where you are, she will not bark and comes in.
I will show her in the field upon request and would offer a weeks trial on her with money back if not satisfied. This hound would be great in a slightly slower pack, and would be a good addition to almost any hunter. She is right at the tail end of my pack and needs to run with slightly slower hounds. I would trade her to a faster hound or something of equal value if money is tight (which it IS!!!!).
Her pedigree goes back to Indian Hills Majer on top and to some Thorn Gap breeding on the bottom side. DOB is 5/10/2006. Nice little hound just too slow for me.
