1/10th of a cc per 10 lbs. For example a dog that weighs 20 lbs gets 2/10ths of a cc.

If you just want to prevent heart worms 1 10th of a CC per 10 lbs is ok. If you want to get most of the other worms also, my vet said 1 CC per 52 lbs of dog, 1/2 CC per 25 lb Beagle, in the mouth every 30 days. It don't even matter if a female is with pups. I give it to my females with pups just the same as always, (as directed by my vet) and my pups are always healthy. In the months where mosqitoes are present, don't go past 30 days, because they could get infected. If you give Ivermectin to a dog that is infected with heartworms, it will kill the dog. Some friends have been giving their Beagles 1 CC every month for years. One guy gives it under the skin, the other in the mouth. Their dogs are normal 20 to 25 lb Beagles. My vet said it would be hard to overdose a dog with Ivermectin unless you were trying to, and he has never heard of any liver damage at all from using it. He also said that Ivermectin does alot of good things for dogs, and that in other countries, they are using Ivermectin in Humans for something to do with peoples eyes, and are currently testing it for other uses in Humans.
I hope this helps.

Happy hunting,

Bart
