Does she have a hound mouth or the show beagle squeak? As Bob Wehle said, when breeding dogs it's hard to get all the coons up the same tree.... and that's one coon I haven't treed yet... with very similar breedings.

Another problem is trying to put too much of a "show beagle head" on the dogs. The abbreviated muzzle cuts down on their scenting ability. Some of my friends who breed for the same as I do say about 1/8th show blood is all they can stand. I have done OK with 1/2.... a lot depends on what the other 1/2 is.

We have had about the same experience here My last breeding has about 3/4 show and are doing well it just a matter of finding the right Combination.
That is the hard part YOU MAY get one that does well but the Consistancy just aint there...
But we will keep workin on it ;)

TC I just sold a litter of 3/4 show blood. Unfortunately all but one went to pet homes... the field folk just won't shell out the dough, and I can't turn it down from the ones who will.  I kept one and she is going in the starting pen if it ever rains again here, which is questionable.

And Honey Pot, if you're reading this, no need to tell Jon I have full show pups for sale.... they're all sold. :P

She has a course chop which she will use every step. At times it is like she is screaming at them. :)

Much better picture....yup, I'd take that bitch 15" ;)

Larry G my show beagles with Echo Run have some excellent bawl cries, and so does Joe when he's chasing the cat you'd think he's gonna kill the thing!! And I think he would!

I think Mark would let someone show Zo for him. Don't think he would catch the eye of the judge in those socks and sandals.
