I will tell you Oakhill does a great job on the dew claw removal, she did my dogs and didn't leave a scar or anything where I had the vet do them before, I had scars and they were a mess.

Oakhill does a really good job at this I know I must owe her a pile of money for doing all my pups LOL.....

Couple of questions on the hemostats.

The ends of the hemostats seem as big (thick) as the dew claws are long. How do you get them back far enough to still see the claw?

Do the pups fuss and squeal when you leave the hemostats on for a few seconds after removing the claw?

You can get really thin hemostats. I use the thicker ones for docking tails which some of my customers want since they run their hounds in thick southern briar. The pups will squeeze a bit but usually not a whole lot.
