Kind of a teasing process huh? lol
By the way why are you being so kind, the other day you made the offer to kids about a pup for their grades and now this.
This isnt suppose to be fun, this is a dog eat dog world.
Your suppose to slam my dogs and I am suppose to slam yours, you are getting way off base.
I knew you werent right when I met you, anybody that would travel to a hunt where we met at, and a state hunt at that.
And a wife that pretty . It had to be your dogs it couldnt have been you and your kindness.

You have earned my total respect Plowboy, wish they were more like you.

Thanks, I think your a goodun too. Credit goes to my Daddy, he has always been there for me & raised me right. Too me if your feeding them, what right do I have to bash them. Daddy once told me if people are downing a hound or bad mouthing its owner, probably out ran them pretty bad & they can't handle being spanked.

I was searching for something and found this thread. Was wondering if you were able to put more foot in them and how you did it.

Wow it is a good topic.

Lynns Buzzsaw dog. I think he would up the foot of Flat Medium dogs without hurting control or nose.He probably has as much foot for his control as I have seen.

There is a hound in Mississippi that will add foot in your hounds. HOF GRRCH Shilohs Sir Winston. EXCELLENT REPRODUCER. He is getting old.

Swamper,
You have some excellent producing hounds all around you. Florida has something going on down there in AKC many do not know of. It is some cottontail/hare crossed beagles that can run the hair off a rabbit and do it all day. They have nose as they run in sand and don't know what quit means. They have plenty of foot with control and if you cross them into any line of dogs I promise you you will see it STRONG in the pups you get from it. They have straight legs and good conformation. It is of the old Fish Creek line of dogs. Take it from someone that has seen alot of good dogs they are born as consistent as any I have ever seen as they are HEAVY, HEAVY LINEBRED. You also have a producer in Mississippi, Cruise's Jim Dandy that is weir creek that will produce you a nice rabbit dog with decent foot. Contact me if you need more information on these dogs. I have a couple up my sleeve here in GA too. ;) Wayne
The truth will set you free.

Swamper did you watch those videos that have been posted on the ESPO board and the Rabbit Hunter Board? Was FC Skyview Amanda the style/speed you were looking for?

id have to agree with plowboy. ive had patch and patch crosses they cross really well with other lines but you have to be very stricted and be ready to cull for what you want. but i think you'd be happy with the patch dogs added to your breeding program. You know something gotta be right you may not hear of alot of champions in the patch line but its a bloodline most everyone knows and most respected. and if breed right through a very high consistensy of good pups. this is my two cents worth so no one jump down my throat.

Swamper -
If you are looking to add a little foot to your dogs I'd recommend taking a look at some of the Midwest Spo dogs. Some of them are fast swingers, but the majority that do well are med fast w/ good control.
May also want to take a look at some Progessive Pack dogs down south. I hear down in GA they are letting them run faster as long as they keep control. For what you are looking to do - I'd say stay clear of most Little Pack dogs. However, there is one Little Pack dog that is not to far from you that you may want to consider. His name is Matthew Mcrae. He is a Hill's Shakerag dog and has dominated in TN for some time. He has foot, but also great line control and has serious hunt.
