No, I was told the trial was last weekend. Was I misinformed?

The 2014 Akc large pack national trial was held last November in Moran Michigan. It's also planned to be there again for 2015.
Last weekend was Eastern U.P.'s large pack trial , also held in Moran . Here's a link to the Northern Michigan Hare Association site , which shows the results.

So, are there two AKC large pack Nationals now? Northeast & Northern Michigan?

No there is only one. It was just held in Michigan last year and will be held there again this year. It can be held at any of the clubs they just decide where at each year.

Then what was the trial at Corning Beagle Club (Northeast) last weekend? Was it just an AKC licensed trial?

North East Beagle Gun Dog Federation "national" run off. It was just there run off trial but yes it was a akc licensed trial for the all age dogs. They decided to call it a national but it was just a small pack on rabbit nothing similar to the AKC National Large Pack on hare.

For a comparison the trial would have been identical to the Mid West run off trial.
