All these guys had a part in helping me with trick finishing for field champion. I I just wanted to let you guys know and thank you again for all your help!!

Congrats miles on finishing trick. I knew as I was trialing kane that I didn't have the means to follow it up with trick and I knew he was capable of making fc. I was glad you got him because I knew you could make sure he got to the trials. A lot of hunt and heart in that little dog there.

This is photo of tricks first rabbit season with two of his litermates train (center) and kane (right). Cross turned out pretty well. Train has made grand in arha pp and won its biggest hunt, the US championship. Kane and trick now have made akc fc and won and/or placed in arha and ukc trials. Musgraves bloomfield duke and kimbrel's callie grace are two other good dogs out of this cross. Heath maddox has a similar bred dog in wheelie which is another multi-format gundog. Wheelie has same dad as trick and their moms are full sisters. Wheelie also has full siblings that are nice. Bottom line, there's a lot of good blood there and I hope trick can produce you some quality pups that you can enjoy for years to come.

I had trick at my home and ran him for about 2 weeks ,it did not take long to see he was going to make fc. congrats miles>

Congrats on finishing trick!! Trick is a nice hound that has a ton of hunt and heart. We have had a lot of fun out of those four dogs over the years and I'm glad to see that another dog out of that cross getting credit for being a top notch rabbit dog. Congrats again on FC Kimbrel's Superfly Trick.

there is a lot of guys out there that had negative things to say about trick, but the bottom line is trick is a rabbit dog. every dog has there faults, but guys are just kennel blind when it comes to there dogs. trick has a ton of desire and hunt and brains, when it comes to killing rabbits he would be the dog to take..............congrats miles

Congrats!! He's a nice hound. Been paying attention to that litter/cross ever since watching him win with his brother (Duke) 2nd in March 2011. Oh ya, and Kane took 2nd in the big males, but y'all probably don't know who he is, lol. Nice Hounds and when the litter is all good then they generally produce good too. Best of Luck with is future offspring!! I'm sure we'll see'em for years to come

Thanks for the kind words on Midnight Wheelie and your success with Kane. Wheelie is a nice running little male. I believe he could finish if more time spent at the trials. I have a couple of really nice 4-month old females pups out of him to sale and are keeping a couple for my kennel.

I have been able to run with and judge Big Wheel and always enjoyed his style and consistency. I did own a littermate to Kane and Trick as well, as a pup called Madkos Oliver Twist. I bought him slightly started from Donnie Sparks. He was showing some pretty strong capabilities, but a little shy. I sold him to some friends who run Progressive Pack in Ohio, but he became too strong for them. I understand he is with some hunters in Ohio. This Wheel/ Tadpole/ Majer breeding has been real solid with littermates and close cousins. Hope they keep producing.
