I noticed that a lot of the hunts split the win. I just wondered why a lot don't have a run off. I don't want this to sound like I am greedy because you could keep the payout the same with an overall winner.

they don't have enough dog power so they call it a win with beating 3 dogs at the most. lack of dog power!

Most of the time its time constraints....Like an evening hunt and the early morning hunts where they are hosting another hunt later that day....

in the P.K.C. you don't need dog power, you need a fast rabbit dog that can run a rabbit track not a big time swinging little pack dog that over runs the track and swings around the mountain in hopes of jumping another rabbit, if your got that type of hound leave it home

clarrys apparently yoy just started pkc. because it don't matter if they swing like barry bonds on a 3-0 count. just as long as they cross the line. plus 99% of the dogs are all little pack dogs. Just stating the facts and yes I do run pkc and mine swing just like the song just a swinging it has nothing to do with dog poweri Seen a ubgf dog smoke an akc ukc and a lil pack grand in 1 cast. Its all in what you like don't know why people have to mouth about others dogs. We are all beaglers there is enough problems in this world than to argue about the style of dog someone likes.

I got to agree with Jeremy and they do keep same pay out if ran off its just split up diff

sorry to ruffle your feathers guys all I am saying is the faster tighter line control dogs do better in the P.K.C. just my opinion

people need to come run with my hounds you dont need power well come get some and talking about little pack dogs boys and girls my dogs compete and win in ukc hh/pkc/and little pack so if you think you got power just come run with my pack they dont need to swing.just saying dont talk crap about what you know nothing about.

not talking crap I run both pkc and little pack very rarely the the best dog win in pkc. jmo

If you are seeing lines the best dog could win . But when your not seeing lines I think it is up in the air . Any time a dog wins and know one has to see the dog perform in my book is a hope and poke. I do run the pkc and I enjoy it just when I go I pray to see rabbits or else it's just a bunch of voting. As far as the splits. I don't agree I think the only way to win is to actually run off splitting to me means you are not sure if your dog can win against all the winners. Walking away with a win after you run off now that makes for the best dog of that day . Not 6 different winners jmo. But I'm sure we could go on and on about the ups and downs to all the formats. Just don't get not running off seem like a cheap way out so everyone can brag there dog won and really it was a win of a first round. Again jmo and I will keep running pkc but just wish people would vote to run off and get a true winner?

When u can win a hunt and never have a first line or a first strike you promote average not perfection.. If pkc only scored first line and first strike then they would promote a dog. And yes i agree run it off you have all day. You dont give points to all dogs in ukc when they get checks do you? But when you lose the rabbit everbody gets minused. This seems inconsisted to me. Now i know there r no checks in pkc. But why should a dog be awarded for happy barking or following wheather it be pkc or ukc. These formats DO NOT PRODUCE A POWER HOUND they produce a consisted hound but who wants that.Everyone wants the WOW factor and them who say they dont want to win big r lyers. Go big or go home. Be first or be nothing. Who lost the Super bowl last year. Guess what nobody cares. LOL
