question
i wanted to ask you guys a question as i dont know nothing about trialing,,,,,,can a dog be entered in bench shows without being trialed,,,,,if so what are the difference between arha bench shows and akc or ukc if any,,,,,,,i have an 18 month old hard rock female that would do great in benches but im not interested in trialing,,,,,thanks for any replys in advance,,,

you would have to show in ukc or akc. ukc would be your best bet.

In ARHA and UKC the dog must run in the field before being on the bench. The exception is pups, pups in arha can be put on the bench after they turn 6 months old and before they reach 1 year old without being entered in the field. I don't know if UKC does the same or not, for puppies because I have never seen puppies benched at a UKC trial.
