Any takers wanted
I've got a young jip 1yr old and is ready to be trialed, i'm looking for someone who trials alot. I'm looking to work out a deal with a trialer that is interested and reputable. I'm not able to to trial do to my schedule and my responcibilty as a unmarried father to 2 children. i know this dog has plenty of speed, line control, and more hunt than any trialer can stand, she is well conditioned daily and i know she can get the job done. She is 13" out of CFC Mikermas Super Dog, FC NorthwaySpur,IFC Taylor's Sock IT To ME top and bottom.
Anyone that is interested contact me by email or at 931-484-6573 or 931-267-8463.
I'm planning on breeding her to KY beagles Major Magee who is my hound and is out of FC Syris Mcgee, i will give pick of litter for trialing or a free breeding to one of the trialers jips for trialing this hound.
Only reputable trialers apply, cause i want to make sure this hound is well taking care , not abused, given regular vaccines as required, given the care she deserves, and i'm sure the trialer will not ever regret taking this hound to the field to be trialed.
For more info contact me as listed below. I'm located in Tenn, i ask that she be picked up here.

To Plateaubeagler - It sounds like you have the makings of a nice hound, but at a year old I don't think it would be prudent or cost effective to try and campaign her yet. At 1 year old this dog will still be impressionable and heavey trial pressure could do serious ireparable damage to a hound this age. I don't claim to be the most experienced trialer in the world, but I have seen enough of them to know that it is better to wait until a hound is closer to 2 years old and has had a good gun season or two under it before you expose it to the trials. Remember trials are open to all and although there will be some good dogs there, there will also be some junk their, deer runners, ghost trailers, and some just flat out idiots that need a bullet. You really don't want to put a young dog into that weekend after weekend, as it is a recipe for disaster. It's your dog and of course you can do as you please, but I am just trying to help a fellow beagler make an informed decision. Good luck

Thanks for the info big dog, i really don't know what pack to run her in but i have run her with many different hound like you say, good hound, trash runners, and some that just need to be shot, but she rins her own race wants her feet hit the ground, and this hound has fast speed and bo quit in mind, and can't stand to be 2nd. it seems that the more compition the better she is.i have run against some very well condition hounds and i've seen most of the owners pull there hounds in fear of there dogs health against her. i ran her against a good continder in my area that is well supply with rabitts and the owner wounldn't pull his own until the 3rd day, in fear his dog would was exausted he pulled his hound and stoped.
she ran several more races not any trash either the hole time and then i called her in, thats when he suggested to me that she needed to be running trials, and i respect his thoughts cause he knows hounds pretty well. ive only run her on cotton tail haven't ever run her on hare, but with her speed and nose i'm sure she will do well.

Dang guy's your killing me, i believe i'm gonna give her another yr and put my oldest son on the road to trialing he wants to do this anyway and me and my youngest son will do the trianing and prep work in between. At those prices i'll just wait another yr he will be 18 then, and then i know i will be getting my money's worth then. lol Heck you never know some of you guy's maybe paying us someday. lol. Just a funning ya.
Alright, ya talked me into it Plateaubeagler. I'll trial your dog at a basset hound trial so it can have a chance to be the fastest dog out there.
Just funning ya.
She is a good little dog.

Good choice Donnie! You and your son will enjoy the memory of the hunts and days of trialing.......I often say letting someone else start your pup is like having the preacher take your wife on the honeymoon......well, I feel about the same on this, you and your son should have memories to spare in the end! I think in the long run you will be much happier. I wish you luck
