i wasnt there for the 1st time ina long time at the state ,, so i cant say. alot of folks are sore after they lose ,everyone has world beaters. lol..

that being said ...most judges at that club are good and honest i know all of them.. at state hunts there are others judges from different [places that judge also ].. as i dont know who judged there are a couple you have to keep an eye on there for sure. sad but true ////
you just cant take these things to serious you got a good dog ,, your gonna win some and lose some!go to have a good time and hope you get a fair shake ,, what the gallery hears and what the judge sees can sometimes be alot different ,, so the judge may have done a good job .. only one who can say for sure most the time is the judge!..

I was sitting with a Vendor one time at the Little Pack World Hunt, and as a cast of trucks was returning to the clubhouse, the guy said. "Welp...here's comes one happy person and 4 crybabies." (lol)

i talked to some people about this chuck that were there. they said it was a judgement call over a jump.. whether it was a jump or not .... thats a judgement call that a master of hounds wont overturn ...the judge was a guy i know real well. hes always judged me by hiow he has saw it ,, i aint always agreed with him,, but i knew that was how how he saw it and i lived with that.. acting stupid cussing and rasieing cain in front of kids is retarded.

thats the reason why they need to take out a jump strike
judgement call is the stupidest thing ever just a saying to get judge and master of hound out of a jam
i personally dont give them out hardly
one guy that has been all over once said i was just as hard a a feller named jon merideth

Amen Preacher, I could get in to a very long very heated discussion about judgeing, its just like the international building codes, there is the rule book and then there is the real thing and then there is their judgement call, and lo an behold don`t question their judgement, they konw it all cause they passed a test and what they say is it, no matter what or how many see it different. As far as what happened I could care less,a field trial don`t mean diddely squat to me nor the title. I have seen how some are won. Course this is just my very HOO.

If you were not there dont speak on people cussing in front of children, as that did not happen. Im not going to argue back and forth on here about it. I protested the made up jump, but the truth is that judge wouldnt score my dog in the checks, or a jump that she sight chased 50 yards and the pack hit her. The jump in question there was never a rabbit ran. The whole day was like that. 60 dogs at the hunt 25 out of state dogs , not 1 out of state dog in the finals. Not 1 out judge from away from there was used.

Read every post I have made on here, and see if I have ever claimed I was cheated. This time myself and several others were cheated. I guess Im the bad guy for saying something about it.

I will not post on this again as I love this sport, and I enjoy the format that I run in. I dont want to give the whole sport or organization a black eye.

Peer`s to me it`s already got 25 black eyes,next year there`ll be 35 dogs instead of 60.

It doesnt take alot of explaining and arguing folks. When a state hunt is down to 60 dogs total, all classes combimed, there is something wrong. My dog was never in the running in the cast in question, but I did see a dog get done wrong (I did say a dog, not a man). Mike, I don't know you real well other than seeing you around at the trials, but your dog looked great man.

I was planning on going, sounds like i made the right decision not to go. I posted for directions and the only reply i got was from Brian Murphy. That seemed a bit odd to me. I guess nobody from that club is on this site. :-o

I think the jump/strike is a wonderful thing, but my roots come from hunting. We held a jumpdawg in high regard, I judged a cast on the coal mines one time years ago and Keith Buse's dog busted a rabbit out of a clump of fescue, I could see him winding it and he almost pulled hair when it leaped from cover. I gave a jump strike and the cast looked at me like I'd come from Mars or another planet... That run was took over by a matched pair of hounds, one being Blackfoot Crazy and another bitch the Meyers boys from Missouri had. Those two hounds were a mirror image of each other in looks and a beautiful pair to watch run. That day, they were tied to the rabbit and left little for the other hounds. That bitch sure could run a rabbit but had no hunt, I saw her at another hunt i helped judge and she stood with the Gallery a good 20 min.'s I truly believe another hound jumping a rabbit to get her in, was the only thing that kept her from going to the truck that day.
Give the jumpdawg his credit, without him there's no race... ;)
