Handler with Class from Wurtland's Big Males

Not sure who to thank!!! Wish I knew his name but, older gentleman stayed until after the winner’s pack of the big males was over just to shake my hand and thank me for the hard work. He even asked this young lady with him (Maybe granddaughter) to shake my hand and thank me for the hard work. When this happened I didn’t have much to say, mainly because of the back pain and I was somewhat surprised from his comments. As a judge normally only one person maybe two want to thank you, it normally comes from the owner of the winning hound. I’ve been judging for 16+ years and have said many times I’m not judging to please anyone or make friends but it’s nice to know someone appreciates what judges do. I just think it takes a class act for someone to take the time to wait just to thank the judges, especially since they didn't even place a hound. I think this shows what type of person this guy is and I wish I would have told him when it happened. Who ever you are keep teaching that girl the right way win or lose!
