Please pray for my friend Selena Osbourne's baby.. He wasn't due until the end of November, and they had to take him this morning. She had went for a check-up in Lexington yesterday and they told her he hadn't been growing and that his heart was distressed so they took him this morning and he only weighs 2.13lbs..

Sad to hear but be thankful that this issue was discovered before it was too late... your friend and her baby will be in my prayers.

keep your hopes up our baby was born at 25 weeks and weighed 1lb 11 ounces he had a lot of trouble but weighs 16 lb. today and is 13 months old they do good things at UK

I talked to Selena last night and the baby's lungs aren't fully developed, but the doctor said he's doing really good to have been born so early. She also said to tell eveyone thanks for your prayers!! I'll keep you updated!

Your friend and her baby is in our prayers. Our boy was born at 28 weeks and weighed 2lb 1oz. The first time I got to see him he had lost down to 1lb 12oz.
He is now 10 years old and weighs 108 lbs. He is almost as tall as I am.
Them little boogers can really surprise you. I will tell you something the nurses had me to do, get a notebook and everyday write down everything that happens. What he weighs and if anything special happens. Have everybody that visits write in the "book".
You think you will never forget stuff that happens but you do. Now Trevor gets a kick out of reading the book and I still get teary eyed. I lost my dad before Trevor was a year old and I can read in the book stuff he wrote and my boy feels like he knows his grandpa.
The book is priceless to us, and I think it would help your friend too.

Thanks Swamp mama, I'll definately tell her about doing a book!!!

Talked to her today and she said they are both doing good. They named him Benjamin Dwayne, and they're calling him Ben.
