Not to many were crazy enough to go to Beaver Dam on sat. mourning and try to run a rabbit in 10 to 12 inches of snow. But a few of us made it up to Bull Run to try and see if we could hear a race. I guess them old rabbits were smarter then we were cause there was only one spotted all day. It was in an earlier cast and the dogs couldn't run it all day. Plus 10 was the only points scored good or bad all day. Hammer Down kennels with the win in the open class with oh Buckshot and Murphy's Cyche with a close second with the tie 0 to 0. Thomas Ward I believe won the champions and a real nice guy(not good on names) was second in the champs. Believe it or not there was 10 opens 8 champs. I didn't see a rabbit all day but I sure did have a great time. One of the best hunts that I've been to in a while. Didn't hear a complaint all day except for the snow! But we sure did have a good time!
Thanks,
Bryan Murphy
maybe we can get old Hammer down to post the results.
