I dont think so if a hound cant get in the top five in a club hunt there would be no reason for it to be at the world hunt.

i think it should be 1st...3rd in a hunt to get quil. that would cut a few dogs back so that you dont haft to be away from your home at the world hunt for a week

i've seen that 1st place dog on different day be a 8th place dog so stick to the 5th place qualifing; let'em run the world. however,i would't waste my time or money going to the world if the dog didn't earn it fair and square

my point is arha took the easy way out on the hoy, because of all the cheating going on and people crying over getting cheated.why not do the same to the world hunt?more cheating go on to get a dog qualified for world than the hoy ever thought about doing.how many time have you felt like you got cheated because someone in your cast wanted their dog QUALIFIED or heard of someone getting cheated.i've seen some very good dogs get cheated that should have went to the world and could have won two or three cast at the world.the owner of one dog got cheated so bad in jackson everyone in that cast got mad except the boy who won.this owner said that it would be his last field trail.why does all the top dogs run in akc mostly.because of cheating in the arha.not because of hoy,but because of cheating to get qualified and to champion a dog.

hey mobster 10-4 on the jackson club I got beat in a 3 dog champ final that the winner never even barked or hunted with the other two hounds . I'll give you one guess who owned the dog. Back to the judge problem alot of clubs are starting to use a computer program to roll the dogs . One of my ideas is when someone enters a dog ask if they are planning to judge any at this hunt if so assign them a number and enter them in the computer as many people that are dog co-owners the computer can roll the judges . Unlike the present way of "buddy judging ......nope can't judge that cast ..... sorry can't do that cast ..... I can only judge cast 5 because my buddy is in that cast " .

rock crusher you are absolutely right . I've been to the world hunt and seen these dogs that have been "buddy qualified " when they go out in a cast and get thrashed the first thing the handler says is I GOT CHEATED when his/her dog can't even smell a fart let a lone a rabbit track but it has a "5TH PLACE FINISH" if they don't deserve to be there don't take them .

the loop hole in that, the guy buddy name wont be on his papers so he can judge that cast.that idea is a good one,but wont work very well at a small club, because lack of judges and not that many dogs.the odds are in the cheater favor.

so basically your saying cheating only happens in the opens cause thats the only class that has to quailfy thats easy then no world hunt for the opens this is what the nkc is thinking when they read all the complaints botttom line is what nkc is doing when they hear a bunch of complaints they are doing away with the problem not fixing it but doing away with it and eventually there will be nothing left.so if everyone is that dissatisfied with the organization i suggest you take a look at all the other non cheating organizations jmop

dogwhisperer you got a good point, about nkc doing away with the problem.that is the point im trying to make.nkc took an easy way out in hoy.nkc should had fix the problem along time ago.just like getting a dog qualified for the the world.flash had a real good idea 2 top 5 finish at 2 different clubs.send the watch dog committee to the clubs who are getting bad for showing favoritism and getting lots complaints about.you cant tell me that the way some people get their dogs quailified for world is right and dont needs to be address.im a arha member i got the right to say what wrong with it.if the nkc dont like it they can take their membership put it were the sun dont shine.i have talk to lots people who was member of arha, but left because of cheating.if they do go to a hunt its a big five hunt they wont go to club hunt.we need to try to get nkc to fix the problem not to do away with.so we can get these member back.
