Looking for the next seminar....went to akc.org and couldn't find what I was looking for unless I was interested in judging Australian Herding Dogs in New Zealand.

Kelly... Bubba has mentioned about the association sponsoring one that last couple years. Maybe we should look into it more. Perhaps have it at a centrally located place so anyone from around the Mid-West or local areas would have equal distance to travel. I'll talk to him more about it at the runoff here in a couple weeks and we'll see what we can do.

Only problem is coming up with at least 20 definite people to take it. I think AKC requires at least that many before they'll put one on.

Was this discussed at the Runoff? Im getting alot of pressure to get to one but I dont see any coming up. There was one over in Missouri in Novemeber of 07 that I was planning on going to but getting my divorce over with took priority over going to it.
Illinois isnt to centrally located but I would consider holding one here if I could get enough folks to come.

Aaron it was... clubs were asked to go back to their members to see how many was interested in doing so and to report back at the next association meeting. Those in attendance asked if it could be held somewhere centrally located from a Midwest standpoint, which would be in southern Indiana or southern Ohio.

I RECENTLY GOT MY AKC JUDGES LIC. & I WOULD ENCOURAGE EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO JUDGE OR LEARN MORE ABOUT HOUNDS & HOUND WORK TO ATTEND A SEMINAR. THERE ARE SOME FINE JUDGES IN THE MID WEST & I HOPE I CAN DO AS GOOD OF A JOB AS THEY ALL DO WHEN I JUDGE.
