THIS IS NO ATTEMPT TO CAUSE AN ARGUMENT,SO,EITHER RESPOND WITH THE WAY YOU WOULD HAVE SCORED IT AND WHY OR KEEP YOUR BASH REMARKS TO YOURSELF

OK,THREE DOG CAST,RABBIT IS PRODUCED BY HANDLERS,HANDLERS AND JUDGE WATCH RABBIT RUN OVER HILL ABOUT 100 YARDS AND MAKE A HARD LEFT TURN UP AN INCLINE,ALL AGREE TO TURN ON IT,DOGS PICK UP SCENT WHERE THE RABBIT WAS FLUSHED,THEY RUN IT OVER THE HILL,NOT REALLY POUNDIN,BUT ALL THREE DOGS ARE CLEARLY HARKING IN AND MOVING THE LINE,THEY BREAK DOWN AT THE SPOT WHERE THE RABBIT TURNED,30 SECONDS PASS,BLUE DOG PICKS UP THE SCENT AND BLOWS OUT WITH IT UP THE HILL ,THE OTHER TWO DOGS JOIN IN,THEY COME TO A FENCE,ONE DOG CANNOT GET THROUGH FENCE AND IS BARKING CAUSING THE OTHER TWO TO NOT PROCEED WITH THE LINE,JUDGES CALL DEAD TRACK TO MOVE THE DOG ACROSS THE FENCE TO PROCEED ON THE LINE,WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE SCORED UP TO THAT POINT?

THIS IS NO ATTEMPT TO BASH ANY JUDGE OR ANYONE,JUST CURIOUS AS TO HOW OTHERS WOULD HAVE SCORED IT.

AND NO,I AM NOT WHINING

SO SAVE IT!!!!!!

1 Check on the Blue dog, provided a line was established by the pack and all dogs had harked in or had the opportunity to hark in.

To fast Eddy - In arha just as any format sometimes the handlers will jump a rabbit when they are moving around, in that case the judge will normally turn loose on that rabbit no different than what would happen in UKC, except there wouldn't be any split points. They would go on checks at the first breakdown.

I agree with Big Dog--1 check on the blue dog.

It is just a judgement call as to wether the judge felt like they had established a line good enough. A hard one to give opinion on without haveing seen it happen. If the judge had see enough to consider it a good lie, the blue dog a check and nothing else IMO. But I hate when a dog can't get over the fence and ends up calling my dogs back.

1 check blue. As for the dog calling dogs back to the fence I would hope that my dogs would pick it up and go on with it and not come back to the dog at the fence. Now thats not saying that they would but I would hope that they would.

Well the Way I See it If the judge called DEAD Track then he felt the dogs produced.
Check to the blue Dog.

Now if you are scoring FROM the First Check Wouldnt it be any Score after the first check?
If they broke down just after the check then no Score....

Scratch the dog that can't get over, under, through or around the fence and then scratch the other two for having bigger ears than heart to keep the track moving on the other side of the fence! LOL

fyi.......my dog was the one that could not get through the fence, and yes,he was the blue colored dog.

in defense of the other two dogs,he was raisin three diferent kind of heck about it too,and they tried to go on a few times, but he kept barking at the fence and held them there.

as for the check,by watching the rabbit run off and turn up the hill, then all three dogs running that line, that should have established the line in my book, and one judge did right down the check, but after they disussed it for 2 or 3 minutes, after the dead track, the check was took off.

it was a close call i guess

i believe you mean after it is signed robert, the cast had not ended.

bottom line is it can't be changed now,but i was just curious what you all would have scored.
