Hey Chief
Enjoyed meeting and getting to visit with you during 15" females and the 15" males at Lake Conway. Congrats. for finishing your hound . What little I got to see of him from the gallery he looked good.
You know my male that wouldn't go? Ran him here at home today and he tooled several all around the woods. Go figure.

Thanks to all for the congrats. Who ever told me "we got the hard part over with since we got 3 quick wins on him" and "the points will come quickly" lied to me. It was only fitting that Blue finished with another win.
I’m sorry but this post will be long since Blue is my first FC. I need to thank all that were and are now involved. The order of thanks will be some what a time line for Blue's accomplishments.
First is Don Hoog for having the foresight of creating this cross a second time. Don also helped when he pushed me within moments after Blue got his first win. He told me he's on a roll and you need to ride it for all it's worth now. That's when he got a second the next week later at Northern Mississippi and a win soon there after at Amite City Louisiana at the Southern Large Pack Championship. And again soon there after, Blue won the UKC Eliminator beating 223 other dogs on ice and snow. Thanks Don.
Next is Dave Worley, one of Don's good friends, for selling him to me. My first partner, Ed Steele, and I bought Blue when he was a little over 7 months old. Dave, I hope I made you proud.
Ed Steele, my first partner in this adventure, is next. Dave gave Ed and me the option of buying Blue or his brother. I had a hard time deciding which one to choose but Ed always could pick the good ones every time. Thanks Ed for being on target as always. Ed also ran Blue a lot during his youth but family issues realigned his priorities and we soon separated on good terms. Ed, thanks again for allowing me to have Blue.
The next person I thank, I thank the most. Justin Rutledge. When Ed and I went our separate ways, I thought it was all over with. Having two jobs would pay for all this but it left me no time for the required running to keep Blue on top of his game. In comes Justin. He put the most time in on Blue above anybody else including me. I feel that I had the vision but Justin was the cause of the results. There is no doubt in my mind Blue wouldn't be where he's at now if it weren't for Justin. Oh yea, he fed and watered him the most too. Justin, hang with me and I promise you we’ll do this on a regular basis.
Chris Goodman, another partner of ours, your next. Thanks for watching and taking care of all the other dogs while Justin and I worked with Blue. Thanks for also pushing me when I was about to quit.
A big thank you goes to our Vet in Indy, Doc Canada of Brookville Road Animal Hospital. He is one of the best sporting dog vets in the area. Thanks for the care and advice on Blue and all of our other dogs. Blue almost died on us one time and the Doc pulled him through.
Others that need mentioning is Steve Bailey, Edmond Barnes, Bryan Bush, Joe Clark, Bev Cross, Jeff Edlin, Bill Ennis, Mel Faust, Shawn Fetty, Tim Griffin, Brandon Hill, Bryan and Brad Johnson, Bob King, Phil Lecoq, Kevin Monroe, Josh Patterson and his dad Rick, Earl and Jamie Rice, Terry Runyon, Gabe Stockton, Ron Wagner, Donnie Willis, and other friends I meant along the way that I can't seem to remember at this time.
Another guy to mention here, Ralph Saunders! Thought I'd forget ya didn't ya? Ralph, and Bev Cross, helped me get a good start in field trialing among other things. Thanks guys.
Last but not least, Todd Morgan for pushing me to the big league, AKC trialing. Thanks Todd.
