first of all,i did not use abbusive language or cuss, let me tell ya what happened there,i tried to explauin it to the rep that talked to me about it but he didnt wanna hear my side cause of who the judge was
i was on a cast, one minute left in the cast,a dog hits way down in the holler,it was between two dogs that it could have been, the judge never asked for the handlers to call it,and he was standin by us and could not see wich dog and could only rule out the two that where there, one handler even agreed it was mine, wich he has also ran with my dog,but maybe it was the other, bottom line the judge is suppose to say call it,well that did not happen, the handler of the other dog was standin right beside the judge and he looked at him and said that is my dog,all by himself, maybe it was, maybe it wanst, but the rules are the rules, the judge should have gave everyone a chance to call it,instead he awarded the other dog a jump strike, without even listening to weather or not anyone felt any doifferent,i said that i thought it was my dog, then the other handler blew up and said there was no way,and the judge said he knew the moths, although we had no running,up till that point,he knew the mouths
the judge asked me if i wanted to dispute the call,i said yes i do,the the judge pulled the scorecard out,ant said,ok.i will fix this,i wont score any dog the points, now it has to go on hunt and handling, and picked the other dog
yeah,i lost it then, and i feal i should not have blew up,but i believe changin the score after the cast is over is a rule violation,am i right??????
that is how it happened, was it my dog that struck in,maybe, maybe not,but the judge should give everyone in the cast a chance to claim it unless he can rule out all the dogs, and yes a SPECTATOR said he saw my dog back by him when the dog opened, but spectators and handlers are two different things.
i am sure the owner of the other dog will come on and give his two cents, weateher it was or wasnt his dog, that does not matter, the score was changed aftr tha cast was over.
and before you ask why i didnt protest...the judge said if i protested,he woulkd report me for arguing with him,so i signed the card, and took one for the home team
from now on,i will keep my temper down, but when a judge changes his score so i cannot dispute it with the moh,and pickes the other dog,tha tis wrong,he done said he was awarding the jump strike,i felt it was my dog,the other handler felt it was his,,but ht e judge did not give anyone a chance to claim it,and he was totallly out of position to make the call,he said he called it cause he knew the mouths, without a single bark during the cast,he knew the mouths
if i was a bettin man,i bet it the same judge being discussed in the other thread, judges and judging
a rule violation is a rule violation, changing the score after the cst is over and doin it to make the dogs all even at zero to pick a dog on hunt and handling is a rule violation, and in my book,it is also known as cheatin, and when it happened yeah,i lost my cool and said that i thought the judge was being dishonest, and changing the score after stating it,is dishonest.and i dont agree with judging by ear, weather you say you owned the dogs in queastion or ran with them or whatever, all that matters is what happens out there that 60 minutes, and the two dogs in questiojn did not bark the entire cast cause we did not have running,so how was he justifiead to make the calkl by ear?
when the dog opened, there was two dogs there by the judge and two dogs in the woods, the propper thing to do would have been to say does anyone want to claim that dog,but that did not happen, the other handler looked at himand said that is my dog and he said,"i know it is" and grinned.i honestly thought it was my dog,i wanted to dispute it,then the judge changed the score and gave to to the other dog on hunt an handling, this is the way it went, yeah i was wron to argue but the juf=dge was wrong to do what he did.
that is all i have to say about that.
and if anyone wants to watch josh and i judge,i will be sellin tickets to the next hund we attend,50 cents and a cold bottle of water.
