I just got a call from Terry Sudduth and he told me that Sudduth's Mississippi Homer had died. He got hit by a car last night while Terry was running his dogs. He said that the back tire hit him in his back end. He thought that Homer was alright, he was just limping a little. This morning when he went out to check on him he found him dead in the pen. Homer will be really missed. In my opinion Homer is the greatest producer of all times. Every dog in my pen has Homer blood in their veins. Homer was a true rabbit dog. I have watched him run many times. He was a hunting machine. Super jump dog and when he barked you could cock your hammer. Homer would have been 10 years old his birthday and he could still run a rabbit just as good as he could when he was 2. Here is just a few champs and grands that Homer produced PPGRRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Hammer, HOF PPGRRCH Hood's Mississippi Diamond, PPGRRCH Hood's Mississippi Gypse, PPGRRCH Peters' Field Master Misty, PPGRRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Hunter, PPGRRCH CC Hard Track Cricket, PPRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Slim, PPRCH Legue's Mississippi Buck, PPGRRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Dan, PPGRRCH Ford's Tiger Lillie, PPRCH Homer J The Mochine Jack, PPRCH Green's Dynamite, UKC PPCH Sudduth's Mississippi Cork, UKC PPCH Sudduth's Mississippi Boss, UKC PPCH Sudduth's Mississippi Bell, PPRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Bull, PPRCH Hartwick's Flashing Honey, PPRCH Homer's Miss Molly, PPGRRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Rip, PPGRRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Jack, PPRCH Donivan Creek Rex, PPRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Sadie, PPRCH Sudduth's Mississippi Sissy, PPGRRCH Mississippi River, UKC PPCH Big Johnsons Storm. That's just the ones that I can think of. I will sure miss Ole Homer Big Boy. If you need me give me a call. Clay Richey

Man what a shame! Sorry to hear this Terry.....I know you all will miss him........what a loss to all of the beagle world, hunters and trialers alike.

This dog was one of the toughest to ever hit the ground, and obviously he threw it in his offspring.

Keep your heads up and I will be seeing you around.

Best to you,
Randy

It was a pleasure to watch such a hound as Homer run a rabbit. He was a favorite of mine. Sorry for the loss. ;) Wayne
