I am making this post because I feel like me and my dog(Ann)got screwed out of winning something that I have always wanted to win,HOY. I have been trialing in the ARHA PP for many years, The last 2 years I got envolved in the HOY race. It was fun,I enjoyed it. I bet I haven't missed 2 hunts in 2 years. I have met some great people all over the United States. I put on alot of miles chasing points. I have been in nearly ever state that holds PP hunts. I got banned for 5 years by Ron Ramsey for unsportsmanlike conduct,sharp practices and cheating. I have not seen any evidence of any of the 3. Ron Ramsey called and told Joey Hood that he was going to ban me if he got his way and he said I usually get my way. Mr.Byram told me everything that they had on me and it was all just hear say and lies from 3 or 4 cry babies that got behind in the points race. They told that I asked Dennis McCaig to come to the hunt at Osborne Creek Beagle Club to cheat for me. This was a lie. I asked Dennis McCaig to come to our hunt to be MOH and to help judge because everyone else was going to be at other hunts. Daniel King and Joey Hood 2 of our MOH's was going to the TN State Hunt and Barry Ellis told me he didn't know if he was coming to the hunt or not. I went to the MO State Hunt with Ann and left Ashley in MS. Dennis agreed to come. I told Dennis that it would be a small hunt and maybe he could get him a win with Susie.Dennis judged Ashley and brought her back winning the cast. He was accused of cheating by one of the handlers in the cast. Dennis said he saw a rabbit and the handler didn't believe him. Dennis's Susie dog won the other cast,it was judged by Nose. Susie had 2 strikes and won the cast. Then Susie beat Ashley in he finals so everyone said that I had something to do with Dennis's dog winning. Which is a lie! Then the next day I was at the hunt. Somebody said me and Dennis was talking at the chalkboard. Yeah we were. I told Dennis that he could't judge the cast that Shorty Mae was in. Then I went to see what number she was and told Dennis that he couldn't judge that cast,then I sat back down. I went out with the champs like Ray Lucas states in the other post. But he was wrong in his post. He said just me and Dennis went out on the cast alone. It was me, Dennis's girlfried and Barry Ellis. 3 dogs were picked up and 2 were left down. Ann and Hunter. Ray was wrong in sawing that Ann and Hunter had no minuses. Ann had 2 and Hunter had 1. Has Sam,Boss or Jasmine ever been picked up before? I think so! Ann has been picked up one time since I have owned her and that was by Mace Clark last year. Hunter has been picked up twice in his life and one was by me in Morehead,KY. He had 3 non produces. The other was a off game in MI. It was also reported that Ann was getting buddie judged for. Someone in the South Region didn't think Ann could beat his dog. This man was not at many of the hunts,he usually sent his dogs. The hunts were pulled and Ann had 13 wins under 9 different judges,in 4 or 5 states. Ramsey told Joey Hood that I had to much influence on judges. He also called Nose Leathers and told Nose that he did not like me and that he was going to ban me.Here is a list of the judges that Ann and Ashley won under this year. Ann(Joey Hood,Jon Hood,Thomas Rutland,Barry Ellis,Patrick Hutto,Daniel King,Dennis McCaig,Paul Curtis and Ricky Hayes) Ashley had 2 wins(Nose Leathers and Patrick Hutto). Why don't everyone give these boys a call and ask the if I influenced them in any way. Another thing they accused me of was going to pick up one of my buddies from IN and bring him to the North Regional. My buddie called me several times asking me if I would come and get him. Matt Glomski called me and asked me if I would go get him. I said you mighty right I will. So I ride and exta 2 hours to help out a friend and I get accused of picking him up to judge, Then we get to the hunt and they tell him and Nose Leathers that they cannot judge. Finally they tell him that he can judge with someone else out there with him. Nose did not get to judge. I am accused of being a cheater and I have not done anything wrong. If you want to know about cheating and buddie judging you should watch Jonathan Hayes,Mike Burks and Ron Moore. They are pros at it. At the US Championship, Ron Moore brings back MS Bell winning the 1st round and everyone in the cast will tell you as they have told me that Bell should have finished last. Then the 2nd round of the opens. Jonathan Hayes is judging. Guess what Ron Moore's dog and Mike Burk's dog are in the same cast. I tell Nose that I will handle Skip because he was in this cast. We were all making bets who would win but know one would bet because everyone was wanting to bet the same way.Everyone said that he would bring Burk and Ron's dogs back tied. I watched Nose's Skip dog dominate,along with Tony Montogomery's dog. Guess what happened,Skip last in the cast and Ron Moore's dog and Mike Burk's dog tied for 1st. Then in the finals the hunt has to be re run because Keith Buse judged some of his kin folks dog. But in Mo it is alright for kin folks to judge kin folks dogs. Why is this so Ron and Mace? I am not saying anything bad about the judge in MO,I think he is a dang good judge. But if Keith Buse can't judge his kin folks dog why can they do this in MO? Rules are rules. The KS State Hunt, Hood's MS Diamond wins and goes ahead of Bell in the points. Joey brings Diamond to me and I take her to MO for the Sunday hunt. Guess what happens, Mike Burks goes out with Jonathan and Burks picks up every dog except Bell. Diamond hasn't been picked up in 3 years. Bell goes back on top to stay. I take Hammer to MO 3 weeks in a row and he gets picked up all 3 times for pop off barking. Then I take him to the North Regional and in about 2 inches of snow wins the hunt with no minuses either round. The IL State, Hunt Hammer and Big Time Dan are sure winners,it was close between them. Ron Moore judging. Bell is not even in the last race and would you believe she won the hunt. This one is probablly on of their bests. The last hunt of the year. Steve Setters dog is in the lead in the North region. All Lucky has to do is place to win the region. Mike Burk judging,guess what happened. Lucky gets picked up and Cricket and Buzzbomb Tadpole comes back tied for 1st in the cast. Ron Moore's dog wins the North Region by 4 points. Why am I singled out when I have done nothing wrong? Everybody get out your Rabbit Hunter magazines and look in the hunt results find these boys names judging and I bet you will see the other ones dogs winning. Mace Clark tried to influence Daniel King who was the MOH at Coatsville. Mace was the handler but he was the one running the protest. I thought the MOH was in charge of the protest.They did the protest right in the middle of the clubhouse with Mace trying to run the show. But Daniel King was a man and he was right. He made the right call and didn't let Mace turn the rules around so they would fit his protest. Daniel King,you are the man! Mr. Morgan, I love NKC, I think it is a great organization. But with Mace and Ron in charge it will never last. How many hunts did Ron Ramsy(Watchdog Chairman) go to last year? Joyce you and Kim are the best. As for the PP family as long as Mace Clark and Ron Ramsey are in charge,Clay Richey wants no part of it. I will miss all my buddies at the trials and I will miss the competition. Now there's a man. Clay, I'm sorry you had to go through what you did. I know you loved to trial, and it bothers me to see you have your eyes opened so painfully. I know you now understand what some of the others have been going on about for YEARS. You would think Mr. Morgan would stop and think about where all the trouble really is coming from.
Don't give up just yet partner. They are having a meeting (UKC) next month about the new format, and I've got a feeling this will take off like wildfire. If you haven't heard about it just call Matt.
Even if I still ran ARHA I would quit for sure now. How many times is this same ole song and dance gonna happen before it is finally dealt with? How many more people are going to be removed from competition because they're dogs can't be beat?
You know the old saying...if you can't beat em, pick em up.
Mace, you're finally getting your wish. You want to win so badly you can't stand it, and now another group of dogs you know you can't beat are out of the way. It will be easy to win for you when it's just your dogs running. And the very worse part is, I ain't sure you even realize what you are doing.(?)

Hey Randy nice to hear from you thought maybe you have forgotten about me you are right I may be next but I will know that I done nothing wrong so if it happens it happens I can't stop that I just want to run beagles and have fun remember I done the HOY thing one year and let me tell you it is not worth it you gain and lose so many friends by just trying to win a piece of paper maybe I will see you soon take care buddy

Dennis, Good to hear from you, hope all is well and I havnt forgotten any of you folks. You hit the nail on the head with the HOY thing. When I was just another entry I never had a problem, but when I decided to try running my dogs in the Top 10 it was a different story......thats when things got ugly! I cant imagine having a "good" dog and trying to make it to the top, talk about a BIG bullseye, lol. I know I have lost a few friends over this mess, but I still have more then I had when I got into trialing....and I picked up a few since. My goal was to stand in that 10 dog group at the run offs and I made it....they cant ever take that from me or my dogs. Everyone knows Clay's dog won it all..and they cant change our memory. lol

Randy you are so right I still have that 8 x 10 piece of paper that said's D & J Hollywood's Sissy has made the top ten in the nation in the Champion Class and I did get to run her in the run-off and that is something I will never forget but on the other hand I would never try it again Jeremy is growing up on me now so it doesn't matter if I attend a trail or not whenever he gets time we just take our muts out and let them run who knows maybe I will see you and Shannon sooner than you think hope you have some good running because rabbits are hard to find down here

I thought that the Watchdog Committee was made up of 3 members(Jim Byram,Eddie Mitchell & Ron Ramsey) not just Ron Ramsey. Ron Ramsey made the call to ban me by himself. They did not vote on anything. Joey Hood (MS State Rep) talked to Eddie Mitchell and Jim Byram and they both told him that they did not vote for anything. They told him that they had received a call from Ramsey saying that he wanted to ban me. But that they had decided to wait until after the 1st of the year to sit down and talk about it. Then they receive a letter from Ramsey saying that I was banned for 5 years. I talked to Mr. Byram myself and he said that he did not vote. When I talked to Eddie Mitchell he did not know anything was even going on. Ron Ramsey got after me last year and tried to ban me for bull crap. I judged Donivan Creek Kingfish and Pea Ridge Dora the Explorer and the Everett Morgan Classic and put wins on them both in the finals. The thing was I had owned both of these dogs. But it had been over 6 months since I had owned them. It had been about 8 months since I had owned Kingfish and about 7 since I had owned Dora. But Daniel and KD had not sent ther papers in to get the dogs in their name until a couple of months before the hunt. That was not my fault that they did not switch the dogs into their names. I told Ramsey how am I supposed to know when they switch the dogs into their names. I knew when I sold the dogs,so I knew when I could judge them. I drew out to judge Kingfish at the TN State Hunt and I would not judge the cast because it was to close to the 6 months. When Ramsey called me he was real smart about it. Then when I got my Liscense pulled at the US, Ramsey talked to me like I was a dog. Me,Ramsey,Eddie Mitchell and Jim Byram went in the storage closet at the clubhouse. When we walked through the door he told me that I am doing the talking and you are doing the listening. He started in on me, I started to say something and he said if you say one word you are banned for life. I did not even get to defend myself on the charges they had against me. I have never been talked to like that in my life. Ask Jim Byram and Eddie Mitchell? They were there and they were like me,they didn't get to say a word.But I promise he won't ever talked to me like that again. If I had known that he was such a coward and was going to ban me right before the last hunt and knock me out of HOY it would have been a different story. Ron Ramsey you are a poor excuse for a man. You call all my buddies up telling them that you don't like me and that you are going to ban me. Well let me tell you something Big Boy, I don't like you either. I think you are a sorry piece of crap. Why do we have a watchdog Committee? We have 2 great men on the Watchdog Committee. Jim Byram and Eddie Mitchell are 2 of the finest men that I have ever met. Me and Mr. Byram rabbit hunt together. Me and Eddie Mitchell went and ate one of those big steaks at Taylor's the night after Ron took my liscense. Me, Eddie and Bobby Wilkerson. Bobby made a comment saying, I can't believe you took Clay's liscense one day and are buying him a steak the next. Mr. Mitchell told me that the South Regional Hunt would have never gotten over if it hadn't been for me judging, I judged every round. I just want to know why and how can Ron Ramsey ban me by himself? From what my MI buddies tell me you can count on both hands how many hunts Ramsey went to last year. We need a watchdog chairman that is going to be at every hunt unless an emergency comes up. Ramsey is not chairman caliber. I fill like Ron Ramsey should be the one getting banned,not me. Eddie Mitchell or Jim Byram would be a good replacement for him. Mr. Morgan Ron Ramsey and Mace Clark both need to step down. I think Joyce would be a good replacement for Mace. She don't run dogs,she is at the NKC office and she knows the rules. Why don't you make these changes and put the ARHA PP back on top to stay? This is all I've got. Then when I got my Liscense pulled at the US, Ramsey talked to me like I was a dog. Me,Ramsey,Eddie Mitchell and Jim Byram went in the storage closet at the clubhouse. When we walked through the door he told me that I am doing the talking and you are doing the listening. He started in on me, I started to say something and he said if you say one word you are banned for life. I did not even get to defend myself on the charges they had against me. I have never been talked to like that in my life. Ask Jim Byram and Eddie Mitchell? They were there and they were like me,they didn't get to say a word.But I promise he won't ever talked to me like that again. If I had known that he was such a coward and was going to ban me right before the last hunt and knock me out of HOY it would have been a different story. Ron Ramsey you are a poor excuse for a man. You call all my buddies up telling them that you don't like me and that you are going to ban me. Well let me tell you something Big Boy, I don't like you either. I think you are a sorry piece of crap. Why do we have a watchdog Committee? We have 2 great men on the Watchdog Committee. Jim Byram and Eddie Mitchell are 2 of the finest men that I have ever met. Me and Mr. Byram rabbit hunt together. Me and Eddie Mitchell went and ate one of those big steaks at Taylor's the night after Ron took my liscense. Me, Eddie and Bobby Wilkerson. Bobby made a comment saying, I can't believe you took Clay's liscense one day and are buying him a steak the next. Mr. Mitchell told me that the South Regional Hunt would have never gotten over if it hadn't been for me judging, I judged every round. I just want to know why and how can Ron Ramsey ban me by himself? From what my MI buddies tell me you can count on both hands how many hunts Ramsey went to last year. We need a watchdog chairman that is going to be at every hunt unless an emergency comes up. Ramsey is not chairman caliber. I fill like Ron Ramsey should be the one getting banned,not me. Eddie Mitchell or Jim Byram would be a good replacement for him. Mr. Morgan Ron Ramsey and Mace Clark both need to step down. I think Joyce would be a good replacement for Mace. She don't run dogs,she is at the NKC office and she knows the rules. Why don't you make these changes and put the ARHA PP back on top to stay? This is all I've got.
