i have never been to trial before was just wondering what to expect if i went to one and how do you find out where and when one will be located in northern ky

When you go to a trial, usually you are in the gallery esp for large pack. Small pack you can go along and watch. If you want to learn the most, volunteer to help in the bush but you have to be prepared to run and work a long day. I was allowed to marshall my first trial and learned about the excitment of 25 beagles working hard on those snowshoe! The gallery is pretty boring once you have heard all the war stories.
