Buddy, I think all this started when you said and average dog could win the World Hunt. Wrong, wrong, wrong!!!!!!!!!! I have several average hounds and I've yet to win one!
It takes a special hound that has had many hours of running under their collar. Honey is one of them. I handled Honey all the way through the World hunt, and let me tell you what, she HUNTED just as hard as any hound in any cast she was in. She has all the hunt any man could want. Sometimes Mike grades his hounds tougher than most, but I tell you what, there ain't an average hound in his kennel.
Now, on the other hand, sometimes the truth hurts. If you have never been to a World hunt, you have no idea what it takes to just get through the first round, much less, make it to the finals. Then your hound has to beat the best of the best to win the hunt. No average dog will accomplish this feat, period.
Crabby is a class act in any ones book, and I glad to call him a good friend. We have traveled many miles together.
But as Blair said............. If you had a hound that has accomlished what Honey has over her five years of life, you too, would have an above average hound.
Just calling as I see it.
