Craig Tull....heres some news

Does anybody not remember Fred Hausman standing up the first morning of the world last year and telling everyone that we need to start measuring these big dogs????

I just received a call from Frank Miller. He asked me to post this for him. He is not able to get to a computer.

The dog Missy was handeling belonged to Matt Kirkbride(sp), a young boy from their club. This was not Franks dog. He said to let everyone know that Craig had every right to measure the dog, and he holds NO hard feelings. He indicated that he made a comment at the time, but meant nothing by it. It was just the fact that his wife teared up a little when the hound measured out. She had handeled Go-Go in every round. He said as far as Matt is concerned he is thrilled that he made it to the top 3 at the world hunt. He said to congradulate Craig on his win..


As far as Go-Go is concerned.. He is a nice hound and Matt is a very nice young man. He's new into beagleing ang very pround of his hound. Go-Go was there at the end of the Spring Nationals as well. I ran agaist him in the finals. I believe he finished 4th there as well.

Congrats to Craig and Bad News....Also, Congrats to a vary excited young man .. Eric Riddle for 2nd place

Upstanding of the young man, the dog must be a good one to get as far as it did.....I will say not upstanding of his buddy who initiated this post and drew all this heat to the situation. I bet this will bring a whole new turn of events next year as far a pre-measuring dogs. I have not been to many hunts, however every one I have been to height has been a big issue and almost always brought up. As you can see by the ovewhelming responce to the inital thread, Craig has been commended for asking for the the measurement. I bet it will now become more frequent, looks like I gotta sell one good 'un myself now...LOL

good show on franks part,now,i hope this is over,lets all congradulate craig on his win,and lets all shake the young boys hand and tell him job well done on getting gogo ready,he must know his dogs,two top five showings in two hunts,maybe i can pay him to run hounds for me,obviously the young man knows his dogs.
