For all that need to know panther is NOT the guys that handled cole in the finials. There was only one thing that was said at the hunt and that was a one on one conversation with chad and I. He knows there are no hard feelings and hopefully knows there was no one that went away mad or unhappy. That was a great cast of dogs in the finals, anyone of the five dogs could of won that cast and the people that were there knew that.We ran a dog that has not been in a trail for over four years,we were very proud of him to take second place. It just made our day to have a dog that could compete with all the other great dogs that were there[thats why we were there anyway is for the dogs]. It was a great hunt and everybody had fun.We hope that you all get one of those big five hunts,we will deffently be back.We run our dogs every day and proberly spend more time with our dogs then we do our families. As every beagler knows it takes time and dedication to have good dogs.We just hope people saying everything dont affect the way people judge each other.[the dogs are the reason were even there for].

Blair, you know us girls aint gonna be talking about you....we are the closest things to angels on this earth!!!! I will tell you this much, you really missed some entertaining events, some in the field, me yanking Dale Peters acrossed a ditch by the front of his coat. Dale, hon, anytime you need yanked acrossed a ditch just let me know...LOL.
To the events at my house, my running pen full of people standing around a bonfire, running dogs. To a certain somebody having a fight with a lamp in my living room, while smacking Amy's sister in the head with a rabbit leg. Thats all I'm gonna say about that.
Denver snoring in the chair, and then losing his keys the next morning.
And Mark Harmon having trouble getting his food at Coltons!
Not to mention all the people thinking their was a big cat dead on the side of the highway, so at 11:00 pm we stopped on the side of the road to find out....it was a big dead dog!
I'm glad everyone had a good time, and hope everyone comes back. If nothing else we are entertaining.

Sportsmansdream, glad to hear you guys aren't panther. Only got to talk to one of you guys, not sure if it was you or the other. Glad to hear you had a good time. Like the looks of that Cole dog, kind of reminds me of my Mikey dog that youns beat at Desoto. Haven't got to see him run yet, but hopefully I will, I want a rematch. This was the first time all you guys from NE MO came down, and hopefully you liked it well enough to come back.

Just to let you know the guys that hunted my dogs is not Panther. And I am not Panther. Sammy and his friend are some of the nicest young guys I know and if they weren't I would not trust them with my dogs especially Cole. They enjoy going to your hunts and I enjoy them spending the time with Cole. AS I said if not for them taking Cole to a hunt he would never go if he waits for me to take him. I am glad there is things like that out there for people to do especially the young. I ask about judges in large hunts and I think everyone thought I was complaining about losing. As I said trialing is not my thing but I am glad they have it for the ones that do love it. If I have good enough dogs to run in trials and these young guys want to run them I will keep letting them run them. As long as I have 3 or 4 to rabbit hunt with. Again I hope you all don't take it personally that I ask about judges as I know you work your butt off to be fair to all.

congrats to all the winners. it was a great hunt put together well with some great dogs, great people, great food and some great judges i know one judge came in wet upto his waist because we went across the swamp to keep up with the dogs oh and that was without waders and yes it was cold.Oh ya there was alot of rabbits to.now about the cheating comment i watched three different judges there and they all worked very hard and ran their butts off thru all the briars and water great job guys.

mobeagler wrote:By the way, Denver Riddle judged the opens and he isn't a member of the club. Also, a member of the club picked up another members dog that was winning on 2 different occassions. yeah, that sounds like cheatin to me, LOL.
SINCE WHEN DO THEY PICK UP DOGS IN LP?????????????

I DONT KNOW ABOUT THAT BUT I WILL SAY THIS.........

IF DENVER RIDDLE WAS JUDGIN,THE DOG THAT WON,WON,CAUSE THEIR AINT A MORE HONEST JUDGE CARRYING A SCORECARD THEN DENVER,AND I AINT JUST SAYIN THAT CAUSE WE ARE FRIENDS,I JUDGED WITH HIM AT THE NORTH AMERICAN,HE CALLED IT ALL FAIR,AND BROUGHT BACK TWO OF HIS HOME CLUB BOYS DOGS BACK LOOSERS ON BOTH CASTS,ONE WAS THE FINALS!!!!!!!

DENVER IS ONE OF THE FEW JUDGES I FEAL SAFE TO SEND A DOG UNDER IN LP,I KNOW DONT HAVE TO BE THERE,HE WILL BRING BACK THE RIGHT DOG NO MATTER WHAT AND WILL MAKE SURE THE OTHER HANDLERS HANDLES DOGS SENT LIKE THEY ARE THEIR OWN.

Tell more about the wild dogs. Are the mixed with yotes or just dogs? Do they cause a lot of trouble?
