Whatever this was about, was the Watchdog Committee even consulted, or should they have been? Do they even use the watchdog committees anymore? Needless to say, I've been out of touch with NKC happenings ever since they yanked their printing from me without notice because I refused to sell them my magazine.

This is exactly what i have been talking about for a few years now and many great people have walked away from this format. We do not have judges seminars and we do not weed out the truely cheating judges that r in my opinion far and in between. Our watch dog committee has about as much power as a marshmellow in a raging fire and r e board has no say on rule changes or how anything is run and again i say why? You all know why but everyone has blinders on no elections all appointed positions this means the upper part of the organization picks and chooses who the want and where they want them. You want people to quit protesting make them put up a fee to be heard you want protest to stop punish the cheating judges by taking there judges cards and if you want mistakes to stop then teach your judges right and wrong do not hung them from the tallest tree. Its a freaking trophy period. I have watched the same judge be protested every year for the last 7 years at the world hunt and they still let him judge why because the r concerned more about getting the hunt over with then getting it done right. We r holding the ohio state hunt oct 22 and 23 and i will tell you this if someone wants to complain about the judges thats fine but you better hold a judging card and you better be on the list to judge. Because what i will do is if you think he cheated you then HE WILL NOT JUDGE NO MORE AT THAT HUNT I DO NOT CARE IF IT TAKES A WEEK TO FINSH AND IF YOU THEN BITCH ABOUT HOW LONG IT TOOK TO GET THE HUNT OVER I WILL PROBLEY END UP BARRED FOR LIFE. GROW up and see where the real problem is. IF there is no police you will have a total mess and at least at my hunt you will have police. So be careful want you wish for because you cannot have it both ways and no i will not run and keep your dog for you because you have to go to work monday. Now how much more money do you have in this hunt. The house needs cleaned from top to bottom or it will only get worse. If Chip eisenhut steps down like he is talking about who will take care of your hall of fame stuff Joyce come on she struggled with hound of the year because it was a huge hassle. WHAT DOES FRED HAUSEMAN DO. He does not judge we have no hound of the year anymore because it was to much hassle when chips gone your hall of fame will more then likely be gone. I think when joyce and who ever else decided hound of the year was not worth the time why did they not find soneone else to do it was anyone ask. NO!!!!!!!!! Was anyone ask about the NEW mesuring rule and how much more work this puts on a club. NO!!!!!!!!! Was anyone ask how much more hassle it was going to be on clubs to write down all judges names and numbers NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell we cannot even get a master copy of all judges names and numbers because this would be a hassle for Mr Fred. We as clubs if done right make no personal money to run these clubs. Do you think Ron and Fred pay for there motels rooms and fuel out of there pockets. Whens the last time anyong other then Fred and ron has seen the treasurey report. Look when a clubs has to pay for a master of the hounds fuel and board why is this. Does the organization pay the judges that stay over extra days to judge even though there dogs r gone to judge no the clubs do by raising the judges pay not at this state hunt. All judges will make 20 dollars a cast no more no less all rounds and we will not beg you to judge sign up at the table 1 judge or two when its time to go we will roll with what we have. If the organization does not step up or step down i will not bust my ass no more.

I don't know Frank other than aruguing with him from time to time on here but I would like to thank him for reminding me that a little guy like myself can still get barred from a registration for speaking my mind and offering advise to improve things on a website that has nothing to do with that particular registration....unbelievable really. I kinda want to say something bad about ARHA just to get banned but I don't know anything about it other than what I follow on here. It does seem as though anytime someone brings up that nasty word "election" on here, someone gets the boot. I am no detective but that tells me something is going on with the money and the powers that be are scared to death that someone new might look a little too close....I could be wrong though.

This makes me laugh...ban the guy who is running your Ohio state hunt. Real smart business decision there guys and gal!!! I know it won't happen but it would be funny if nobody showed up on the new date out of principle. I guess the ARHA executives have never heard the saying "Always fire them on a Friday, that way you get a full last weeks worth of work out of them."

Again, I have no dog in this fight but these registries better start figuring out who supplies their income...It sure isn't the guys entering a dog a year..it is the die-hards who dontate their time, money, and life to eat sleep and breath field trialing....Guys like Frank and every other club member are busting their tails to run clubs on their own dime...all to keep your paycheck rolling in. Wake up!!

I'm starting to think that as a beagle owner I'm just as well off to not be assocated with CKC, UKC. Seems these organzations want your money but could care less about the people that pay the bills. I have AKC/UKC dogs. Just had a litter and dont see any reason to do the UKC reg.

People seem to forget what Del said several years ago. Del told me on the phone one evening that if there was never another beagle trial that it wouldnt affect his bottom line in the least.

You know. Between this and some other things I've seen with ARHA, I'm close to calling and telling them to remove my dog's names from their registry. Both of us are in our 20s. We've already invested hundreds of dollars into ARHA with our dogs, In my lifetime, it could equal tens of thousands. But if things don't change, they won't see another cent of my money.

Nice post! Sorry to read about this frank. I have always liked attending the little worlds when they where in Cumberland. Think this may go back to why it was moved? Maybe this has been the plan all along? This is one of the reasons I'm leaning towards UKC events now. UKC performance pack world is this weekend......support it!

This kind of crap is the reason I got out of trialing this year. I've seen and been judged by the guy they're talking about and EVERY cast he judged in the past 2yrs had a legitimate complaint. He's lazy and changes what he's doing as he goes. The ladt cast he judged with my dog in the beginning he said if there was a split he would handle all the dogs. We had a split and all the dogs but his buddies took off on the original rabbit,(we saw it) we were told to handle em and we all got our dogs while he kept scoring his buddies. Any beef people had with him at the grand Nat was definitely legit. Might wanna drug test him too!
