Here we go again . I agree about the jump just get rid of it but thats a rule and we have to live with it. But i do not believe that mike cussed or show his but in front of kids . And believe me in the world we live in today they probley see worst at school or a tee ball game. Everyone uses that as a excuse why someone should not act the way they act. But if it was mike which i do not believe. Maybe we should look at why.which nobody whats to read the first chapter just the last. Try to get rid of judgement calls and you will make hunts better but you can never get rid of all of them no matter how many times you try and fix the rules. But when we bring kids into the conversations you as a parent should use that as a time to teach a child goodsportsmanship not try and hide them from the world. I never did not take my child somewhere and expect other people to act a certain way just because my kid was there. I taught them the difference between right and wrong not shelter them and blame someone else. I would say who every made committ about the kids being present my bet is the have had or seen worst stuff in a video game or on the computer or tv then they could every see at a hunt. And if you do not believe that what world do you live in.

It seems the jump/strike rule does create a lot questions in arha little pack and i can see both sides but i think alot just comes down to knowing hounds if im judging and a hound is bumping around then yes just a strike but guys if a hound hits and comes rolling out barking ev ery breath u and i both no that dog just jumped that rabbit so give him/her his points

mark, i agree with you a good houndsman knows when a rabbit has been jumed as far as them boys from tenn they been pulling that kind of shiz for years, why do you think they have so many dogs in the hof, the only people that breed to there dogs are from tenn. matt spencer

I find it concerning that some see this type of actions as an opportunity to teach children rather than recognizing the ignorance it takes to act this way, pitiful indeed. our morals are regretfully deteriorating pitifully, lord have mercy on us.

I just live in a realistic world. It does not mean i agree with it but it happens. So i suggest you use it as a way to guide our children in the right way. If our world was perfect then god would not had sent his only son to die for our sins. But even god is realistic.

I don't think Mike would have said or done something out of the way around a kid. Which is worse though to hear someone cuss or see grown ups cheat, is that setting a good example? These kidds will grow up to think it's ok? I got my dose last year and learned my lesson" and I'm from Tennessee", that why I saved my gas, and motel money. They don't want you to show up so they can have HOF dogs. What else I have to say is

i havent seen one post from any tenn boys that is being talked about on here tryin to defend there self,except one that wasent even there,that's enough results for me,plus i know mike and don't believe none of that bs for a second,i'm sure he was mad most of us would be if we drove that far just to have one stuck in us,but i don't believe he cussed in front of children.i have heard from several different people that it was a one way street down there this past weekend

I did make some mistakes at this hunt too. I said some things I shouldnt have, and broke a Trophy.People posting on here probably wont help my situation, only make it worse.

conductor go find the results they posted of any hunt anywhere... they never do..

cpucket were you there?? they dont post, they wont post. the problem was a judgement call over a jump mostly ..from what i understand and i have talked to almost everybody involved.

mike - i respect you ,what you posted ,took a man to do that ...i have been ripped at big hunts myself ,,i did a little fussing myself ,but in my mind i was breaking trophies over there head lol. sometimes what we want to do and what we actuall allow ourself to do has to be 2 totally different things.

Mike its a hunt and we all react in different ways no big deal. When you get cheated and know 100 percent you will always react a little different then when you think you got cheated there is a big difference. I have been with you on many a cast and i have a great respect for your houndsmanship and sportsmanship. How you react is usually caused from a reaction does not change who you are. I would be proud to stand beside you at any hunt and call you my friend. Your real and i would much rather hang out with real then fake and we know there are alot of political correct people in the world but you and i our not one of them. Works for me. Have a merry xmas and do not worry much about it no big thing. Sounds to me like maybe the watch dog people need to check out this club that is why we have them.
