:D I think everyone should focus on the cheating judges and do something about that problem and not worry about the big dogs. I would much rather run a against a big dog than a cheating judge. ;)

I voted yes, but I also would want to see all dogs measured before the cast and for those to say it takes to long, the AKC has always been doing and it works like an assembly line. Register, measure, then number. I have been to large pack trials where there over 70 dogs and it went smooth.
i also agree with if its in the rules then enforce the rules.
I also think it is a matter of morals. If your dogs measures above 15" and you know it, why are you taking it to a trial.
For those that say I just want my dog to go up against the best. What if I showed up with a terrier to a beagle trial. what if my dog was a top rabbit runner, could I enter it even though it's not beagle.
I think if the answer is NO then that's the same thing as having a dog too tall, it doesn't qualify. Just like nascar, each car has a set of guidelines to follow, if the car doesn't meet them then they can't race.

(this was not directed at anyone just my 2 cents :D )

WE WERE TOLD AT THE LITTLE WORLD HUNT THAT NEXT YEAR AT THE WORLD HUNT THEY WERE THINKING ABOUT MEASURING WITH A LAZER.HOW COULD YOU MEASURE A DOG WHEN ITS HEAD IS GOING TO HIT THE LAZER.THEY ALL WOULD MEASURE OUT.THE SIZE OF A DOG DOES NOT BOTHER ME.ITS HOW THEY RUN A RABBIT.THEY TOLD US ALL DOGS ENTERED WILL BE MEASURED.THERE SURE IS GOING TO BE ALOT OF MAD PEOPLE IF THIS HAPPENS.THEY SAID NOT ONE PART OF THE DOG CAN TOUCH THE LAZER OR THEY ARE OUT.I THINK THIS IS TAKING IT A LITTLE TO FAR.IF THEY ARE GOING TO TO THIS I THINK ALL DOGS SHOULD BE PRE MEASURED THAN HAVE A CARD TO SHOW THEY ARE 15 INCHES.THIS IS JUST A LITTLE OVERBOARD

The laser talk has been going on since this years world hunt. They are going to measure the dogs at the withers, their head will not make them oversized. Also from what I understand if it is close that they will remeasure the dog with a stand the laser is just to speed up the process.
