OHBC--Jackson, OH 4/23/11 LP Results

Post by JCM »

Thank you to all who came and joined us. We had a great crowd that filled the clubhouse. The running was super with many great chases throughout the day. Also thank to the Cliftons we had great food for all to enjoy.

Thank you to all who helped judge this weekend--Greg Hunter, Jeff Allen, Steve Allen, Gregg McGuire, Earl Meade III, Matt Clifton, Jason Moore, Frank Miller, Big Earl Meade, Brent Thompson, Matt Wolfe, Mike Chandler, and T.J. Alley. Having 14 people help out with judging was terrific and made it possible to have a great hunt!

Thank you for your contribution. The reason the hunt went so smoothly was all of the help. As always, you sacrificed to help the club. A lot of people don't realize what judges give up to help the clubs. You didn't get to run your dog in the final because we needed a judge. And, just like always, you volunteered.

Every time you and your dad go to a hunt, you step up and help out. When you guys walk in the door, I relax a little because I know my day just got a little easier. Thanks for being a stand up guy and a friend that always helps! It's guys like you that make ARHA so great.

Great hunt Jim and as always great conversation. Had a great time as always. Question out of all the rounds run how many dogs were mesurered? Just wondering!

Frank,

The only dogs I have seen measured in all of the hunts I have attended in the last year were those that were being registered. But the stand was there if it was needed. :D

I checked the beagler board and everybody has a lot to say about what is wrong with little pack. What rule needs changed what rule doesn't need changed every hunt i go to i hear something said something going on it may not be right but it happens. Every time i get on here someone has something to say so i figured i would post my opinion about some stuff. This is just how feel about it We as Little Pack Beaglers need to hold are self to higher standards not start changing rules. Everybody wants to clean up little pack its not little pack that needs it its some of the beaglers just need to hold their self to higher standards thats the only way it will get better!!!!!!! By the way congrads to all that placed. In saying that Frank it looks like u have an opinion on a lot of things so i will say this for someone that stood there 30 mins of a rabbit race and say that they didn't have a rabbit ur dog hasn't opened his mouth, then the rabbit is seen. When jim m. read off the score and u got a good strike,2 checks on a dog that didn't bark the whole time why didn't u do the stand up thing and tell jim ur dog hasn't opened his mouth they didn't have anything!!! Stuff like that is what i am talking about beaglers holding to a little higher standard. I just wonder if it wasn't to ur favor then would u have said something? Because i did at redbush i told the judge three times that gary harless dog should of had three jump strikes right in front of us that was killing me on the scorecard but its what the dog should have got. Then i told him to minus my dog when he was debaiting on what to do because thats what he needed. Thats just my opinion im not trying to start a debate on anything. Just figured i would post my opinion and see how it goes. :???:

You weren't on the cast, and you sure didn't help me judge, but you seem sure that I cheated. Wow, you must really be some beagling expert.

I searched your posts and noticed that you seem to see a lot of cheating. Most of the time when someone sees cheaters everywhere, I have the same advise:

1. Get better dogs.
2. Quit crying.
3. Get better dogs.
4. Evaluate your own dogs instead of other people's judging.
5. Get better dogs.
6. Hire a good trainer (call me if you need a recommendation).
7. Get better dogs!

I could go on, but I am sure it wouldn't help.

And by the way, Frank doesn't have any buddies. :D Did you ever spend much time around him? He's almost as loveable as I am. :)

You should have come to the hunt. It was a great hunt. A lot of dogs, a lot of people helping, great food, great running (that one cast killed me), and great sportsmanship. It was an awesome day of friendship and fun.

Rockarabbit you seem to leave some of the facts out but let me feel in the holes. My dog got the strike at the beginning of the chase then we had a long break down after they crossed the bottom. remember they drove it to the bottom like they were looking at it. At that point Jim got throwed out. Remember at the beginning Jim said if i get behind i will call time out until i catch up then i will call time back in. Do u remember that or is it select member going on here. Then the dogs completely left the area where they broke down up by the road a dog hit in the bottom matbe backwards who knows goes 40 yards breaks down for awhile then another dog hits and then another they hit miss hit miss this goes on for 10 minutes or better they never put it together but earlier thet drove like they were looking at it HHHHHHMMMMMM. One minutes they pound now we have dogs that can not even get out of there own way and yes my dog didnot bark in that fisco. Then we have a long break down again my dog comes over the hill hits hard and then we see the rabbit and the dogs again drive like they was looking at it. All this and we was on a time out. Jim finally catches up and starts scoring again. Thats how it went. Even if we were not on time out i personal would not of scored any of that crap either. If you can not tell the difference when a rabbit is up then theres the probley with the people not holding themself to a higher stanard and its not me. Do you JUDGE just curios and do you walk over the hill and watch your dogs i think not.

No mistake i read your post and understood exactly what you said and i gave my opinion and u do not agree thats fine. I am not sure who you are but if u are telling me you would had scored all that junk when i brought up that i am not sure what is going on lord help us. I did not speak up for the near fact it came out just like i had it in my head i knew i either won by a check or lost by a check or got cream if he was scoring that other junk. Thank god for small favors. I am not trying to start a war with you but you are making allagations that offend me deeply. I have many times made a call for a judge that cost me a hunt not a cast a hunt and never ever would i cheat or have someone cheat for me. I understand dogs if i understand nothing else and i diffently know what was going on in that 15 minutes was not RIGHT!!!!!!!
