I have heard of this more than once.Don t know were it true or not.In field trials a person will put a deer runner in a trial to try to get some dog pick up for running deer.Is it true or not?
What trials are there that dogs are pick up right there for running deer or fox.No sec time to see if they will do it again.
I ve heard that you can spray Hair spray in a dog box and the dogs cannot smell nothing. Are some people this mean to do this? Thanks yall, I was just wonder does this really happen.I know there are alot of good trialer out there but you know some people.

Re: ? About trials.
Earl,
I mean no disrespect but saying stuff like that gives trialing a bad name. Maybe it would help a new style of trialing if someone was trying to push it, but it does not help the beagle trialing world. This is just my opinion.
As far as dogs being picked up for deer, I know UKC and ARHA both have no tolerance for dogs that run deer. They both run in an outdoor setting where deer are present. This guarantees that the rabbit hound is true. If you put a dog in a pen only where no deer, fox, etc. is then you can not know if they are "trashy" and run any scent or a real hound. In ARHA Little Pack, every time your hound runs deer he is reported to ARHA. After I believe 3 times, they are banned from ARHA hunts. If you know a dog runs deer, break it or leave it at the house.

Toadd to what MIke said in ARHA if a dog is picked up 3 times for running off game (anything other than a rabbit) the dog is banned from ARHA hunts for 1 year from the date of the last off game call.
At least this is true for the Progressive Pack division.

I understand Mike and agree.Sorry.I used to do ARHA.Had a man came down here from another st and he done worst than this. After he left we close. It don t take but one bad apple. But I think that all clubs need to tell what going on so the young club like us would know how to deal with it.We just didnot know what to do.If somebody dose something wrong tell it and put there name out and get them out.We all have to stop taken up for someone being ugly and dishonest at trials.Sorry but we have never forgot what that guy did and he is well know up north and was in the Rabbit hunter mag.I mean if he would had came back and said he was sorry it would had been better. And what make it so bad after I told the watch dog com.two mo later he was in the mag for being a great beagler.Yell right.I m sure there are some good clubs out there and good people at everyone of them. But me and about 12 more are so hurt about this we never been back to a lic trial and this was in 93.I m trying to start one back and talk to some of the guys and they just don t know yet.I want to see different face in beagle and make new friend but just don t want guys like him.I hope you understand how we feel.

Earl , Start a Little Pack club up . I can give you a list of 20 guys or more from North Carolina ( Names + Phone Number's) that would Love to have a Little Pack club started. I don't think any of these guys would give any problems and most would be glad to help out.
Only 2 Little Pack clubs left in NC. It would be nice to have one a little closer to Home.
