The Don McVay Sr. Memorial hunt is coming up on August 25 at Jim Schumakers farm in West Lafayette Ohio. This is a Blackgold Challenge Series Event . Great hunt ,great raffle and a lot of Great People .Come up and enjoy a great saturday of running ! You can see some of the best UKC Blackgold Challenge series dogs in action !! This will be a great Hunt !

Should be a great hunt that weekend, with about 200 dogs there. It well take a dog with alot of heart and hunt to win it. I'm hoping to unvail a new dog that weeekend.

I will be Bringing 2 maybe 3 but i aint lookin to Win Nuthin I just wanna Go to meet all the Folks that are gonna be there Caint wait Alot of these Folks I have talked to online and on the phone with for years and Now i am Gonna finally be able to put faces to the names thats what this hunt means to me meeting all the folks involved from all over the country and get to see some great Dogs too gonna be a great time and Who knows We just MIGHT get LUCKY :D :D

You can register your dog at the hunt. Just fill out the form, get it measured and pay your entry. This hunt is for any dog that meets all the standards and is open to the public to just come and see what it is all about. Hope to see you all there.

I would like to make this hunt, but I have a family commitment that I must keep, therefore will be unable to attend. I would like get in on the raffle however, anyway I can purchase tickets?

Ok All Set!!! Reservations made, Daughter stayin with friends. Wife took Friday off. GOOD Friend (Sally) :hug: Feeding the hounds, We will be there Friday night leaving Sunday look Forward to meeting everyone!!! Gonna be a great time!!!!

From what i understand you must be present to win ! one dollar per ticket or 6 for 5 dollars . a great list of prizes and a great hunt !

Forgive my ignorance....what style of dogs are going to be there...in arha/akc terms? Are the dogs casted in SPO fashion, Male and Female split, or all together?

all the dogs are ran togethor 13 and 15's and males and females they can be anywhere from lp style speed to progressive pack style and speed to win in u.k.c hound and hunter format. u.k.c awards the jump dog more so than anything else.
