Just wanted to let you know that at the current time most of those two gauges are going for around $900 to $1400. I have a 28ga and would not take a million for it. I use it for birds, rabbits, squirrels and sporting clays. A friend said I should put it up and not use it since it is still in almost perfect condition. It was made to hunt with and that is what I do. Good luck on finding a nice gun. There sure are hard to come by now days.

I was wanting a 28 but ended up buying a 20 due to availability. No regrets, very nice shooting gun.

Chip, I have the gun you are looking for. 1970's era 28ga Remmington 1100. 24 or 26 inch vent rib Imp cly barrel. Looks fantastic. We know each other but it has been 15 years. I am in Indiana...not sure how we could work out a pick up. I am going out of town for 2 weeks no internet.. but I will be in touch after St Patrick's day.

Chip......Look over on the sqdog.com forums. Saw an ad for a 410 recently and I think one for a 28.
