Asking for all of your prayers. My sister is 31 years old and recovered from colon cancer two years ago. The cancer has now spread to her lungs. Please pray for my sister Jaclyn Schag (Shoemaker) as well as my family. Jaclyn has two boys ages 7 and 5. I thank-you in advance for your prayers.

I have a friend who has survived the lung cancer now on 9 years.
We have family to lift us when we're low, but God will carry us when we're unable. Tell your sister our prayer comes with God's healing hand, that she might raise her family and lift His name.
The blood of Jesus covers us, that God might look down upon us and touch our brow. His promise, " I am with you always". Take this promise and help her fight her battle. Medicine goes down better when your surrounded by love...

Thanks to all for the prayers. My sister is now at home with my parents. The doctors are deciding what actions to take with this deadly cancer. She had to have surgery on her colon and cannot start any other process until she is fully healed. Again, thanks to all for prayers.

Thanks to all that prayed for my sister. Prayer is strong. My sister had a "Pet" scan ran on her to let her know where the cancer had spread. The doctor found two or three spots on her lungs. Scheduled her for Kemo before they took a biopsy of her lungs. They were certain it was cancer and discussed how to fight the disease. They kept her in the hospital for some time.
This Monday her results came in from her biospy. They were negative!!! No cancer. The spots that showed up on her "Pet Scan" were an infection on her lungs. She has to see a lung specialist. The doctors were in awe. My sister is not out of the woods yet, however, it certainly was a blessing. She will find out next Wednesday what she has to do to fight this infection.
Again, thank-you to all. It has taken a toll on our family and she is still very ill, but we our prayers were answered.

Glad to hear it's not cancer, it probably is still not good but an infection sounds better than cancer.

The doctors told her she had cancer before the biopsy. After the biopsy was negative they were scratching their heads. Then they said it was an infection of some sort on her lungs. Now, they are going to do another "Cat" scan to find out what they think it is... again. So, I am not sure what will happen.
I thank all of you for your many prayers and concern. Merry Christmas.
